We seek a broadly trained microbiologist with experience in cellular or molecular techniques. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching undergraduates and will expand and strengthen the current research scope of the Biology faculty. Teaching responsibilities may include cell-level introductory biology courses, microbiology, virology, or immunology. Candidates will also have the opportunity to develop new courses at the advanced level (http://www.snc.edu/biology/majorrequirements.html) and in the College's core curriculum program. Productive research that provides meaningful experiences for St. Norbert College undergraduates is expected, as is advising students and being an active member of the College community. A demonstration of teaching effectiveness will be part of the interview process. The candidate will join the biology department in a newly expanded and renovated science building that also houses the Green Bay campus of The Medical College of Wisconsin.

Telephone Interviewers typically work 20 - 25 hours per week as needed. Interviewing times are generally 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with some additional daytime and weekend hours as necessary. Interviewers are responsible for conducting telephone interviews for a variety of research projects. Training and mentoring will be provided.
Thu, 15 Dec 2016 12:00:00 CSTSt. Norbert College invites applications for a visiting assistant professor in psychology specializing in cognition (additional expertise in physiological psychology or neuroscience preferred) to begin in August 2017. The position is renewable for up to three years, contingent on annual performance review. The successful candidate will teach a section of Memory and Cognition (an upper-level course with a laboratory) each year; share responsibility for teaching General Psychology and Basic Statistics; and offer additional courses consistent with her or his interests and expertise (for example, Physiological Psychology, or Behavioral Medicine and Health Psychology). Faculty members typically teach two lab courses or three lecture/discussion courses each semester. Opportunities exist for research and for recruiting undergraduates to serve as research assistants. Visiting professors have no committee or academic advising duties.
