Leena Pekkalainen began to write stories as soon as she learned to write. When she wasn’t writing, she illustrated her writings. After having fulfilled her childhood dream of studying Egyptology at the University of Manchester, she focused on launching her career as a writer. She published several novels (the Nephilim Quest fantasy series, the humorous Space Witches series) as well as illustrated children's books. Leena divides her time between researching ancient Egypt, writing novels and painting. Occasional lectures about ancient Egypt keep her busy too. She lives in the southwest corner of Finland, in Finland’s oldest city, Turku. Her author website is at www.leenasbooks.com.
