DEVICE WITH MULTI-DIRECTIONAL MOVING MEMBERS

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

A game piece, comprising members that are associated with one another with pivot axes, where a member provides a pivot support that allows independent rotation and or translation motions of a next member in different directions.

Magnetic Dominos Game

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

A magnetic dominos game set with pieces that magnetically connect end to end, side to side and side to end, and methods for manufacturing and playing magnetic dominos.

GESTURE AND AUDIO CONTROL OF A PINBALL MACHINE

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

A pinball machine includes sensors that can detect body and hand gestures and react based thereupon. These reactions can be graphical images and/or animations that are shown on a display, changing physical game play by affecting the ball's behavior or playfield, or influencing player behavior by changing rules and modes within the game. The sensors are proximal to an upright display of the machine, and/or also proximal to the front of the machine on a generally horizontal play surface thereof, and/or in front of the machine, and/or on the sides of the machine, near the physical buttons called flipper buttons. The images and gameplay appear to interact with the gestures of, or sound emanated from, the player, thereby enhancing the gaming experience. The sensors may record the player performing the gesture, and create a mask to be used within the game in the form of video animations and/or composites.

GAMEBOARD PART WITH COUPLING MEANS, VARIABLE GAMEBOARD COMPRISING SUCH PARTS AND GAME COMPRISING SUCH A GAMEBOARD

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

Gameboard part (1) with sides (2), that is provided with at least one coupling elements (6,8) on at least one of the sides (2) to enable the reverse coupling of the gameboard part (1) to another gameboard part (1) with identical coupling elements (6,8) to thereby enable the formation, together with the other gameboard part (1), of different variants of a partial or complete gameboard (10).

Card Shuffler

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

Systems, apparatuses and methods are described for shuffling a deck, group, stack or pile of cards. The cards are placed into a shuffler. The shuffler may be accessed under a lid, or via a slot or tray. Buttons, switches, or a touch screen and the like serve as an interface to access and control the shuffler. Cards are introduced into a substantially vertical shuffling chute. Cards are counted or audited. Sensors provide information as to the location of the cards. Static barriers and agitators encourage cards to remain in proper orientation and location. An elevator lifts cards from the shuffling chute. Sweeper arms or other mechanism manipulates the cards and returns the cards to a substantially horizontal orientation and exit position. Manual override is possible when errors are detected. Rubber-coated commodity rollers mountable to cantilevered axles engage and launch cards into the air when shuffled in the shuffling chute. Cards settle back into the stack of cards under the influence of gravity. The shuffler is mounted inside a simple enclosure. Maintenance and interface features provide convenience when working with the shuffler. Authentication may be employed to correlate user or dealer with operation of the shuffler.

TARGET FOR A THROWN OBJECT WITH RAPID DEPLOY FEATURES

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

A target device for registering a hit by a thrown object such as a flying disc is provided and includes a pylon assembly, an interceptor, and a receipt component. The pylon assembly, the interceptor, and the receipt component are operatively associated with one another such that a movement of the pylon assembly from its operating disposition to its stowage disposition operates to move the interceptor and the receipt component axially closer to the base axial end of the pylon assembly and, when the pylon assembly is in its stowage disposition, the interceptor has been moved from its intercepting position into its non-intercepting position, and the receipt component has been moved from its flared position into its pack position, the interceptor and the receipt component at least partially axially overlap one another.
