A free standing fight simulation workout machine with a fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus is adapted to be used in conjunction with a slip and counter fight simulation apparatus or stand alone apparatus. The fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus includes a multi-headed member having at least one head attached to at least one abdomen and at least one arm having a glove appending member. Preferably, multiple heads are attached to multiple abdomens with multiple arm pairs to provide different punch configurations for the user to strike at. The multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed provides various angles adapted for a user to punch, knee, and/or do a flying knee.

This device is a balance board used for core exercise, balance training, and training for rotational motion applicable to various board sports. The invention consists of a board or deck upon which the user stands having the shape and contours of a traditional skateboard deck. On the underside of the board are three half spherical fulcrum points fixed at specific locations. The primary fulcrum point is the largest and is located in the center of the board. The additional two fulcrum points are smaller and are located one each at the nose and tail of the board. This orientation allows the user to spin freely on the board on a horizontal axis. Rotational motion is possible on any of the three fulcrum points depending on the user's ability.

The device includes: a user output arm movably attached to a base frame; an actuator attached between the user output arm and the base frame, the actuator including a motor and an output shaft connected to the user output arm; at least one position sensor attached to the actively controlled exercise device adjacent to the user output arm for detecting a position and velocity of the output arm; a load cell attached to the actively controlled exercise device adjacent to the actuator for detecting a force exerted on the user output arm; and a force controller in communication with the position sensor, the load cell, and the actuator for activating the actuator to impart a force on the user output arm during an exercise repetition.

The primary member has a generally cylindrical shape such that the interior surface defines a generally circular space about the center axis of the primary member. The clamping device can receive an elongated member through the generally circular space circumscribed by the primary member. The primary member is adapted for clamping and releasing. The clamping device further incorporates a means for releasably engaging the elongated member. The means for releasably engaging the elongated member is attached to the primary member such that when the means for releasably engaging the elongated member is in the closed position, the elongated member is securely retained by the clamping device through the application of pressure.

Each hinge has a cap-like body having an interior surface that defines a cavity configured to nestingly receive one of the ends of the frame members. A deformable plug is located within the central cavity of the one of the ends. A tightening mechanism is operated to expand the plug radially and thereby cause the end to expand radially such the generally tubular outer surface of the end frictionally engages the interior surface of the a cap-like body.
