Disclosed are an integrated film making it possible to detect, after the integrated film is bonded to a semiconductor wafer, a notch in this wafer; and others. An aspect of the invention relates to an integrated film including a dicing tape including a substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the substrate; and a rear surface-protective film disposed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. This rear surface-protective film has a total light transmittance of 3% or more at a wavelength of 555 nm. Another aspect of the invention relates to an integrated film having a total light transmittance of 3% or more at a wavelength of 555 nm.

This invention describes a process flow and method to assemble triple IG units without contaminating the center glass lite. A non-contact vacuum pad is used to lift a glass lite off from a horizontal or vertical support that conveys it from a glass washer to an assembly station. Each of multiple pads has a capacity to lift approximately seven to ten pounds. Use of multiple pads per glass sheet or lite allows lites having dimensions up to 70 by 100 inches (assuming glass thickness of one quarter inch) to be assembled.

The matrix surface and recess(es) are covered by a pickup layer of a second curable compound. The matrix is brought in contact with the substrate surface and the first curable compound and the second curable compound are cured. The matrix surface is separated from the substrate surface, leaving the pickup layer and the first curable compound on the substrate surface. The first curable compound forms printed product micro features at the pickup layer covering the substrate surface.

The apparatus comprises: 1) a container configured to receive liquid nitrogen into a liquid nitrogen chamber within the container, wherein at least one portion of the container has at least one vent hole that enables cold nitrogen gas to escape from the container; and 2) a cover configured to be brought into contact with the container to thereby form a nitrogen gas chamber that receives the nitrogen gas escaping from the container. The display screen device is disposed within the nitrogen gas chamber. The nitrogen gas freezes exposed surfaces of the display screen device. An adhesive layer disposed in a cooling area of the display screen device proximate an exposed surface loses it adhesiveness as the cooling area becomes colder. The apparatus further comprises an insulation pad disposed within the nitrogen gas chamber and configured to be brought into contact with a protected surface of the display screen device. The insulation pad creates a cooling protect area within the display screen device proximate the protected surface.

According to an embodiment, the adhesive force between the polarizer and the glass panel can be reduced and the tearing efficiency can be improved.

The laminator further includes a support roll configured to support the first pressure-bonding roll below the first pressure-bonding roll, and a pressure application roll disposed above the second pressure-bonding roll.
