The method includes generating a matrix identifying customers along a first axis and customer attributes along a second axis and entering initially available data into the matrix. The method also includes interpolating based on the initially available data to fill the matrix while imposing constraints on the interpolating. The method further includes using the matrix, after the matrix is filled, to manage asserts or target customers.

DEVICE AND MEMBERSHIP IDENTITY MATCHING

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

Apparatus and method for a physical store to associate a mobile device identity with a customer's membership card ID. A non-intrusive solution automatically builds a link between the identified device d and a recorded transaction associated with a membership card ID. The method builds a device visiting journey trajectory for a device d from data recording the physical movement of that device d obtained from an in-store locating system, and Points of Interest data information. There is further built from purchase transaction data and data representing a physical store layout, a member's procurement journey. A membership matching engine analyzes the spatio-temporal occurrences and sequences used to build up the feasible link and their binding possibility. In addition, the system can also use historical data and update the linkage and binding possibility adaptively. The system automatically detects the membership card and device matching without asking customer to perform the binding manually.

CUSTOMER LIFECYCLE PREDICTION

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

Techniques for assessing a relationship between two companies are provided. The relationship may be a customer-vendor relationship. Social connections between certain employees at one company and certain employees at another company are compared to determine whether one company is a customer of the other company. For example, if one or more employees with a particular job function/role at a first company are connected to one or more employees with a particular job function/role at a second company, then such connections may be indicative that the two companies are not in a customer-vendor relationship, are in a stage of forming in a customer-vendor relationship, or are in a customer-vendor relationship.

SHARING CONTENT WITHIN SOCIAL NETWORK SERVICES

Systems and methods for managing media, such as digital content, using block chain technology are described. In some embodiments, the systems and methods manage content within a social network service, by registering a digital content item to the social network service by performing a block chain transaction within a block chain associated with the social network service, publishing a preview version of the digital content item within the social network service, receiving an indication of a purchase of rights to the digital content item by an entity associated with the social network service, and providing an actual version of the digital content item to the entity that purchased the rights to the digital content item.

AUTHENTICATING CONTENT AT AN ONLINE CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

Systems and methods for managing media, such as digital content, using block chain technology are described. In some example embodiments, the systems and methods register a digital content item to a content management system using an authentication module that authenticates a digital content item as an authentic content item and a transaction module that performs a block chain transaction to register the authentic content item to the content management system. The authentication module may perform a multiple operation authentication process for the digital content item, and determine a trust value calculated from the performed multiple operation authentication processes satisfies a threshold value associated with authenticating the digital content item as authentic.

Systems and methods for processing user requests for creating a new account in a CRM system. When a user requests to create a new account in the CRM system, an unverified account may be created in the CRM and a DCR may be sent to the MDM for verification. Users may interact with the unverified account while waiting for verification result from the MDM.

SECURE IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION IN AN ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

An approach is provided for securely authenticating an identity of a user participating in an electronic transaction. A request for a biometric identifier/security question is converted to a first Quick Response (QR) code. Based on user attributes and a request from the user's mobile device to a computer to initiate the transaction, the first QR code is disassembled into first and second portions. The first portion, but not the second portion, is sent to the mobile device. Responsive to the mobile device reassembling the first QR code, receiving and converting the biometric identifier/answer to the security question to a second QR code, disassembling the second QR code into first and second portions, and transmitting the first portion of the second QR code to the computer, the second QR code is reassembled. The transaction is authorized based on whether the biometric identifier/answer matches a data repository record.

IDENTIFYING CONSUMERS IN A TRANSACTION VIA FACIAL RECOGNITION

Thu, 03 Nov 2016 08:00:00 EDT

A merchant and a user register with a payment processing system, which establishes a facial template based on a user image. The user signs into a payment application via a user computing device, which receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the payment processing system. The payment processing system transmits facial templates to the merchant camera device for other users who are also signed in to the payment application in range of the merchant beacon device. The merchant camera device compares a captured facial image against the received facial templates to identify the user. A merchant POS device operator selects an account of the user. The merchant POS device transmits transaction details to the payment processing system, which processes the transaction with an issuer system. The payment processing system receives an approval of the transaction authorization request and transmits a receipt to the merchant POS device.
