Comment on I Spy: “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” in “You Came From The Stars / My Love From The Stars 별에서 온 그대” by Amanda Chieregatti

Hi Meann! I'm a Brazilian reader and have a blog about books too. I find your blog because I has looking for more information about "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane", after watching "My Love From The Stars" (I always do this!). Unfortunately I just find a english edition of the book (and my English is terrible, like you can note), but I needed to buy it. ;P

Hi! If you're in the Philippines, you can buy a copy at National Book Store or at Precious Hearts bookstores. (image)

Hi Meann! I have been reading your amazing blog about reading The Hunger Games Filipino Edition and was wondering where you got a hold of a copy. I am a Filipino that speaks Tagalog well, but I want to broaden my Tagalog horizons and read a book in Tagalog that I have read (and loved) in English. Please let me know! Maraming salamat, po!

Comment on “Dreams of Gods and Monsters (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #3)” by Laini Taylor by Meann ★

Thank you, I'm glad I come across as friendly! :) I hope you enjoy this book because Laini Taylor did write an awesome one. :) I'm not watching "Marriage, Not Dating", though. Usually I pick dramas that have actors I like (I drop them afterwards when they turn out to be crap) or dramas whose stories intrigue me. "Marriage, Not Dating" did not interest me. I'm currently watching King of High School, The Night Watchman's Journal, and Joseon Gunman. :) I run a side blog if you're interested: http://thoseotherstories.wordpress.com

I decided to pop in and drop a comment because you sound so friendable! Thanks for the review. I came for the spoilers and didn’t even get my hands on the final book yet. But I can already tell I will agree with everything you said. I’m kinda chicken poop when it comes to books or dramas I’m invested in. I don’t want to be disappointed by the actual unraveling when I read. I rather have someone gently tell me what to expect and thank you for being that someone! I’m gonna get that book now. Keep reading and reviewing so I get more ideas of what to obsessively consume next! Ps. Are you watching Marriage, not Dating. So goooood. You sound like you’d like it. So goooooddddd

2 year late comment here, hahaha: I agree on not being personally invested in the characters - which is unusual for me. But yep, it's a start! Hopefully, Philippine myth stories get more grounding here.
