Comment on Will Trump Ditch The White House In 2020? by Goethe

Tue, 24 Apr 2018 10:15:54 +0000

I agree. I get three or four solicitations from the Trump campaign EVERY day. And soon, he's having a rally in Washington, MICHIGAN. Trump clearly NEEDS the adoration. That's what keeps him going. There are a few other considerations. One is that Trump has very little patience. He jumps from one thing to the next, and it must drive him crazy to do the same "job" every day. The thought of committing to four full years of the same doesn't fit his character. What he might do, however, is say that he already made America Great, and he has nothing left to do. That would allow him to go out on top. For example, Bush43 was still popular in 2004--with ratings in the 50s and 60s,, but it was all downhill for him after that--ending in the 20s and 30s.. He got drubbed in 2006, and is remembered as the president of Katrina and the Great Recession. Bush43 probably wishes he had said he kept us safe after 9/11, sayonara. More than anything else, Trump will likely run, specifically because so many people (on both sides of the aisle) don't want him to. More than any other reason, Trump does things exactly because people think he "shouldn't."

What foreign government was approached by the Clinton campaign?

The only duty the U.S. Constitution assigns the Vice President is to act as presiding officer of the U. S. Senate. He, or she, serves as the president commands. It is impossible to predict just what Kim Jong Un or Donald Trump will do or say next. Kim Jong Un can well afford to suspend tests because his nuclear arsenal is complete and is capable of accurately striking deep inside the United States. He has not offered to give up any bombs or dismantle any production infrastructure. As usual, Trump is declaring a great accomplishment when nothing of substance has, in facts or writing, been formally agreed upon. When Donald Trump, as president, threatens other countries with U.S. military warfare, every American needs to remember that their President, Donald Trump, used deferments (5) to escape serving in his country during armed conflicts. When those deferments were used up, Trump got his doctor to sign that he had bone spurs in one foot to continue to avoid serving in the U.S. armed services. Trump’s ban on normalized trade with Cuba stripped over $1 billion in sales each year right out of U.S. farmer’s pockets, the USDA said. Presently, Cuba spends about $1.6 billion annually on food imports, with over one-third of these imports such as wheat, soybeans, rice, and chickens, coming from the U.S. When formulating all his restriction on Cuba, Trump failed to take into consideration that foreign countries such as Russia and China are ready and waiting to supply Cuba with their food needs and will become Cuba’s new trading partners.

Comment on Five Takeaways From James Comey’s ABC Interview by hgb

I have no idea what Comey is really thinking. He says one thing and writes, or thinks, something else. Seems to me Comey might be saying "Your stuck with Trump." Well I'm happy as are millions of others. Trump brought NK to the peace table. Or China did as China, in my opinion, said NK you've become a distraction to my bottom line. Syria and the ISSIs bees have quieted down. Maybe more to come. As Clinton said, "It's the economy stupid."

The outrage from the Trump supporters wouldn't stop. Plus Pence is a good old boy. The Dems would hate having him as President.

You said," Only Donald Trump sought the help of a foreign government." Certainly you know Hillary, and the DNC, sought help from a foreign government to smear Trump and thus win the presidency. Hillary, and the DNC, wanting help from a foreign government to smear Trump is well document.

Unbelievable. You, or your fake news, is so wrong about politics. You can't even give Trump credit for bringing NK to the peace table. That is really sad. Why you think Trump is feeding Kim's propaganda machine I'll never understand. Obama/ Biden feed Kim's propaganda machine. Hillary would have too. Trump has stopped them from shooting off missiles. South Korea is happy. Maybe you don't care but South Korea does. Trump hasn't made any concessions to NK at all. He's brought them to the peace table. Which really must irritate you, Obama, and Bushy boy. You guys couldn't have accomplished anything. You'd have given NK money , you don't care as it isn't your money, to make them stronger. Oh but they'd say "We promise to be Nice. We really promise." And you'd believe them. When your man Obama made concessions to Cuba what did you think? His concessions were a slap in the face to Cuban Americans but he didn't care. So you think Biden being VP wasn't important. That means Biden is just another corrupt good old boy. Sad you think he was wasting his time. Must be being VP isn't a big F ing deal.

Comment on Trump: U.S.-Russia Relations Are Worse Than The Cold War by Berkley

Sun, 22 Apr 2018 17:42:08 +0000

Donald Trump, using his gift of braggadocio, threatened total war with Syria over allegations of chemical weapons usage for which no factual evidence has yet been found. Trump ordered the Syrian bombing that killed innocent Syrian women and children, allowing himself to be guilty of the same crime he accuses Assad of committing. If Trump had not wanted to become involved in Syria then he would have waited for the impartial judgement of the OPCW which still has not been completed. It is a fact-based investigation to determine whether or not military force was justified. President Trump’s quick rush to judgment on Syria was just another way of him capturing headlines so news that his close friend, and attorney, Michael Cohen, who is being investigated for bank fraud and campaign finance violations would end up on the second or third pages of every newspaper.

It is time to remember that Joe Biden only holds an opinion. He was never authorized in any official capacity to deal with, or offer a deal to, North Korea. It was Donald Trump who made a significant concession to Kim Jung-un by becoming the first sitting U.S. president to extend an invitation to meet with the leader of the world’s most despotic regime. Trump continues to feed Kim Jung-un’s propaganda machine as it loudly boasts that the world’s sole superpower has been compelled to bow before its mighty nuclear arsenal. What is Trump getting in return? So far, not even freedom for the three American prisoner/hostages that Kim Jung-un still holds in jailed isolation. Trump, and you, might do well to review George W’s responses to North Korea. In 2007, George W reached an agreement with Kim Jong that if he would shut down his main nuclear reactor, the U S would send $400 million worth of fuel, food and other aid in exchange for him doing so. Just before leaving office, George W Bush sent a personal letter to Kim Jong Il reminding him to uphold his end of the bargain. Many things have been said about George W but no one can deny that he followed his cowboy code to the end.

The reality is that all political parties, of all countries, are searching for unsavory actions of any, and all, opponents. Of course, the democratic party, the republican party, the green party and whatever, all pay for character research on opponents. The difference being that only Donald Trump sought the help of a foreign government to help him win the presidency of the United States. If Donald Trump or anyone has treasonable evidence against the Democratic Party, it is their duty as an American citizen to bring these charges into a court of law.

But now that you bring it up, I've always wondered why the 25th begins by saying the veep will act as president. That is already stated in Article II, Section 6 of the Constitution. That same section also says that Congress "may by law provide the case for his removal." The 25th really just determines process. It didn't establish the idea of removing a president or vice president.

I didn't think you were being critical, but you seem to be suggesting that Comey would like to see the amendment applied, but Comey is saying exactly the opposite. If he doesn't want Trump impeached, he wouldn't want him to be removed via the 25th, either. Comey says it's up to the people, and we should wait 2-1/2 years to decide.

Buddha? Nirvana? You're supposed to talk about the article. Like explain how Biden would have brought NK to the peace table. Or how Biden would have gotten Kim to peacefully stop his missile testing. Do you suppose these great politicans, and I'm including the Bushes, are embarrassed about NK, etc.

Even you must think the law suit is foolish, correct? Why? Because the exact same law suit could be brought against the Democrats. It doesn't begin to make sense. We know Democrats paid to get dirt on Trump and keep him out of the white house. I guess those that can't adjust to the realities of life (losing) have to blame their being beaten/fired on something.

Comment on FBI Raids Office of Trump’s Personal Lawyer (Updated) by Berkley

Fri, 20 Apr 2018 16:31:16 +0000

“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.” ? Socrates James Comey, then FBI Director, testified under oath about Clinton's handling of classified information on a private email server, testified "I have no basis for concluding that she was untruthful with us." I reminded you that Iraq had a king since because you wrote… “ in 1990's we had Desert Storm. Then again and again . Someone that's in charge, king or whatever, gave the order. There's more then one picture of Hillary standing next to, looks like a king to me.” Facts: Operation Desert Shield began January 12, 1991 - United States Congress granted President George HW Bush the necessary authority to wage war to end Iraq's occupation of Kuwait. Operation Desert Storm began January 17, 1991 still under the authority of President George HW Bush. At this time, Hillary Clinton lived in Arkansas as her husband was governor of that state. So you need to take another look at that picture. In March 2003, President George W Bush III, ordered U.S. forces to invade Iraq vowing to destroy Iraqi weapons of mass destruction which were never found. At this point in time, Hillary Clinton was a senator from New York State and voted against this Invasion. Name calling is a cheap display of uncertainty. Not reading all of my post is, of course, your privilege, or as I choose to believe, your loss.

Old man trouble just keeps knocking on Trump’s door. The Democratic National Committee filed a lawsuit in federal court in Manhattan today asking for millions of dollars from the Russian government, WikiLeaks, and the Trump campaign for Russia's "all-out assault on our democracy ... hurting the Democratic Party and electing Donald Trump." The charge also claimed “This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency.” The last time the DNC used this legal tactic was in 1972 during the Watergate scandal when they sued Richard Nixon's re-election campaign for breaking into the DNC headquarters. The Nixon campaign ultimately shelled out $750,000 to settle the case out of court.
