Unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down the Red Headed Stepchild sangria. That said I have stumbled upon another excellent sangria from a Florida winery, Island Grove Wine Company. It's available at Whole Foods and they also ship. Let me know if you need help tracking it down. Cheers!

Yes I would like to know too. I have been looking for it too. My husband did a show there years ago but when I went back it was shut down . Very interested in finding some.

Brian Kirby, I moved from Grapevine where I used to frequent the La Buena Vida Winery for the sole purpose of having the Red Headed Stepchild Sangria as well as purchasing a bottle every week. Last time I went there, they were closed. I moved down to Duck Key, Florida this past May and am constantly searching for a similar taste comparable to the Red Headed Stepchild. I can't find anything like it. I really want the original Red Headed Stepchild, but I don't know where to find it and a long time ago, I asked about where to find it and they said that they are the only ones who make it. I'm so bummed. Please let me know what you find out about if ANY at all is available for purchase and what I would have to do to get it! Thanks, Patti Lane

Hi Heidi, I will reach out to the winery and see if they still offer. At the moment, it appears they have temporarily closed. More to come...

It's obvious that no one that has posted here owns a winery. I do. You have no idea what goes on, on a day to day basis. To make this short and sweet, parents do not watch their children in general. Most just turn them loose to throw rocks, pick grapes that have been sprayed, get into landscaping, screaming and throw fits, not to mention women breast feeding while at the tasting bar! When I politely ask that the parent mind their child, they tell me to mind my own business which is what I'm trying to do. Yes there are some respectable parents that do watch their children but those are far and too few. We have changed our policy of family friendly winery to adults only thank you very much. As for the twenties drunks, that is a non issue for us. We do not serve drunks. Trying to make us feel guilty for this policy and taking your business somewhere else, won't work.
