Batman in the Style of Dr. Seuss

Some very clever art by Australian illustrator [|DrFaustusAU]. He's done other Dr. Seuss-inspired work as well. [|Batman in the Style of Dr. Seuss]

Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism

Sun, 04 Dec 2011 12:27:36 -0500

Anyone who saw Thursday night's ''Community'' on NBC was treated to a great episode heavily based around ''The Dark Knight''. After Abed purchases a special edition $299 DVD set of the film, it becomes allegedly stolen from the apartment, forcing him to take matters into his own hands by childishly dressing in a Batman Begins Halloween costume and investigating in character. Apparently Abed's done this before; I just got into the show a few months ago and love it. The episode also features a wonderfully spontaneous anime scene. The episode, entitled "Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism," can be watched on Hulu [|HERE]. And check out Abed's awful getup [|HERE].

Batman Thrillkiller Animated

Mon, 07 Nov 2011 17:15:31 -0500

{IMG(src="",thumb="popup",button="y")}{IMG} Here are some character designs I created for an "what-if" animated movie. If you guys aren't familiar with Thrillkiller, it's a Batman story set in the 1960's - where Bruce Wayne is a middle class detective working for Gordon, and later becomes Batman in response to Batgirl and Robin fighting crime. Yeah it's crazy - Batgirl and Robin before Batman! I think the DCU animated movies should go into elseworld's territory soon - there are some really good stories there. I think a CGI "Kingdom Come" would be really good too.

Batman and Robin

Wed, 14 Sep 2011 20:58:05 -0400

I just bought this today and I won't spoil anything but I think it'll be interesting to see how well Bruce and Damien work together. They've got tension and its apparent in the first issue so I'm looking forward to their growing relationship.

If you wrote an episode of Smallville with Batman...

Sun, 13 Mar 2011 23:57:03 -0400

Any plot ideas? Any villain you'd like to revamp? Any cameos you'd like to see? Share your thoughts here. I've always wanted Clark to go to Gotham as a writer for the Daily Planet reporting on the crime rate drop and the rise of vigilantism in the city. Anyway, I just thought it'd be cool to see a really serious Smallville episode involving the police, corrupt cops such as Bullock, and the mob with (because he's my favorite Gotham mobster) Rupert Thorne. Maybe it could be two hours and considered a movie like Absolute Justice was. There could be a few cameos like Harvey Dent could be running for DA/be a close friend of Jim Gordon. The episode wouldn't necessarily have Batman. Just an idea of mine.
