Hi, VMware conveniently mixes up ESXi Embedded and Installable version. Embedded = 32 MB, installed on a embedded flesh card int the host. It allows diskless hosts (without SAN boot). ESXi Embedded is sold only directly installed on the server by the server vendor, I believe. , I believe. Installable = the ESXi we know, several GB big, the one we install using the CD.
