Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I think this sounds like it will work. It's always useful to let students prepare their language before filming in this way.

Hi, Ms. Lalitha you are right. Indians talk British English as they have about 200 years of their influence. Their pronunciation is a blend of their mother tongue and British English which makes it difficult to Understand.

This article doesn't cover what is done with students who get bored. Surely there must be some very bright students who feel they're being held back by the rest of the class. How is the "depth" of their learning increased? I'm still convinced that the more streaming there is the better, and find it hard to believe that there aren't some very bright students in this school who are totally fed up with lessons aimed at a more mixed ability group.
