Large fight breaks out at Sky Zone after boy is hit in head with ball: Highland Heights Police Blotter

Officers responded to Sky Zone Trampoline Park around 7 p.m. Feb. 14 for a report of a fight between several people of all ages. It was learned a boy, 5, had wandered onto an adult dodge-ball court and got hit in the face. The boy's mother was said to have attacked a 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old man as a result. It was unknown who started the fight and only the 19-year-old showed signs of injury. Nobody involved chose to pursue the matter. Officers stayed until all those involved in the fight left the property. A holstered gun was located in the women's restroom at Harry Buffalo Feb. 6 and turned into management. Officers determined it belonged to an Akron woman, who had taken it off to use the bathroom and forgot to retrieve it. The gun was subsequently returned to the woman, who did have a CCW permit.
