Comment on Time to get writing again by Melissa (My World...in words and pages)

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 00:49:30 +0000

Glad to hear you are getting back to the words. :) And that it'll be Kindred for NaNo. It takes so much work to get it all out and through the gears to finally print. Good to hear all went well with the signing too. I don't think I'm going to do the traditional NaNo this year. I want to get a draft book done with re-writes this November and to someone to read and tell me how much more work needs to be done. ;) The process. lol. Take care and here's to all the words!

Yes, I do have that recording. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to work with any of the audio I recorded at Balticon. Doc

Mr Coleman! We were scheduled for back to back readings which you recorded. You wouldn't happen to have that reading still?

Looking at voice acting today. How do you show a producer what you can do when you can do a LOT of things? http://t.co/8VTOjJuSEj

Comment on To NaNo, or not to NaNo? by Doc Coleman

Thu, 23 Oct 2014 10:41:47 +0000

I guess it is more of a two-part question. Should I focus on getting Perils of Prague ready for publishing, or should I write? And if I write something new, what are people most interested in? I would hate to delay Perils *AGAIN*, but I need to get back into writing regularly and NaNo is a good way to jump-start that. But it would be nice to get a start on the second Adventures of Crackle & Bang book. Or to re-visit Bright Lands and fix some of the egregious errors. Doc

I'm doing NaNo. So is Morrighan Rose Silver and Carol Montoya-O'Keefe. Right now I'm in research mode. I have my main character and a vague plot idea.

Comment on To NaNo, or not to NaNo? by Scott Roche

For me, I've done it enough that I'm writing fairly consistently all year. I may write a little more every day and I'll be sheering NaNoers on, but I think there comes a time for every serious writer when you do some version of NaNo all year. And if it's a vote to chose which you should work on next? I say Steampunk seems to be your oeuvre. Rock on with the PoP series!

Comment on To NaNo, or not to NaNo? by Kat Care

Wed, 22 Oct 2014 13:15:46 +0000

I haven't even been able to decide yet for myself. My WIP has been calling me for a few weeks now, but not because of the approach of NaNo. I think being settled and having peace and quiet once more in my home life has been a major factor in the desire to write returning. As for whether you should or not... what does your heart say? Ignore the brain and its 'shoulds' and 'oughtas'. Put your hand on your chest where you can feel it beating, and just listen for a while. You'll hear your answer.
