Yes, she was. Ingesting the flesh of the undead is a death sentence even to a lycan. She was fucked the moment she licked her fingers clean. Regardless, she was pretty screwed whether it was the virus killing her or the arrival of Secret Service or Marine Security Forces reinforcements. There was no way she was leaving that bunker alive. Thanks for taking the time to give the chapter a read. I truly appreciate it!

Thanks for stopping in, commenting and giving Gone to Hell a chance. I'm sorry that the second book didn't have quite the same punch as the first. Admittedly it went through more rewrites than the first and though the story went were it was supposed to it still felt like something was missing. I'm working now to make Reclaiming Hell Pt 1 as good as the first. My soon to be former workplace was wearing me down and now that I'm leaving I can put my attention back to where it belongs. I miss the rush that I get off of writing, and I owe you, my readers, my absolute best! I hope Gone to Hell didn't put you off to the Dog World story or universe. Thanks for cluing me into I have a Kickstarter campaign up with some goodies and you've given me ideas that I feel I would have come up with normally, but again, I've fallen short. Hang in there, vargulfen! I promise to make it up to you and those I might have let down.

That is good news! I was wondering what happened with the second book. It just didn't have the life and resonance that the first had. I waited months refusing to read the individual chapters you posted , waiting for the whole book and when it finally came out I felt like I was reading a different world than the first. I have seen artists and writers use the site to gather funding for help in their project. Money for something as mundane as bills and food so they could better focus on their work. You could create levels of rewards for donation levels. From copies of the book to their name as a character in the book for a large donation to whatever you can imagine really. I look forward to the third book now. Good luck!

Yes, it was. I wanted it to garner some exposure and free books seemed like a good idea. The whole for a week thing is surprising. I only wanted it free for that weekend. lol I'm glad you enjoyed it! :-)

Was it intentional that DW: GTH was free on kindle for like a week at Amazon when it first came out? Great book!
