I wish people would be more geek in my country when it comes to Star Wars. We don't have any SW parties or meetings, they just considered it weird here I don't know why. It's even hard to buy a stormtrooper suite (not that I have a money for one but you know...).

i've done it the other way..other way?...what i mean is i give the 'Wild Extras' an extra wound, but no wild die... i boost an attribute or give them an extra edge if need be....but i will try your way next time to see how that plays out...i think there is a benefit either way depending on what is desired...'mix & max' Extras! : ) great site, thanks for sharing...

I get into similar discussions about anime with the "kids" in the hobby. They're all taken aback by having a year or more turn around for anime coming to the US, having to special order translated manga (and it costing between $20 and $30 for a single volume). Having to find (without the internet) someone who knows Japanese who can translate a RAW for you that you got at a convention you drove 3 hours to attend. Its interesting just how much the hobbies (both of them) have changed in the last 30 years.

I have never understood the "I don't like it = bad" mindset. There are some kinds of music I do not like, that does not mean that I do not appreciate their cultural value or the technical skills of the musicians involved, I just want to listen to something else. I can totally see where a game does what it set out to do and also see that it is not the game for me. Glad your dog is enjoying its new toy.
