Comment on Legal News: Erik Prince Statement On Raven23 Court Of Appeals Ruling by A Blow Against Politically Correct Tyranny – Free Range International

[…] These men were railroaded by a transparently corrupt Department of Justice who, I believe, was motivated by racial animus and politically correct group think regarding armed contractors. Matt over at the always excellent Feral Jundi has a good round up on the status of the Raven 23 story here. […]

Comment on Jobs: SBX-1 Security Force Officer, Hawaii and Alaska by Paul R.

I know a guy who worked on this contract a few years back.....Aquate has the contract for another month or two, but probably aren't able to get it again with another of their subsidiaries. I heard that they cheated/defrauded a subcontractor on this contract who got a judgement against them in court recently. That would effect having a clearance anymore, I'd be shocked if they weren't under investigation for it. The whole group of their companies are also run a dude who got convicted for committing felony fraud on the Army. I'd stay away until someone new has it, juts my two cents....

Great book. It's an honest accounting of the good and the bad of Executive Outcomes during their time. I'd also recommend Mercenaries: Doing the World's Dirty Work by Al J Venter. The UN should put away their bright white trucks and shiny blue helmets and let the pros take care of the bad guys. From Rwanda to Sudan, the UN has been a tragic joke.
