On February 26, our son Trayvon Martin was shot and killed as he walked to a family member's home from a convenience store where he had just bought some candy. He was only 17 years-old.  Trayvon's killer, George Zimmerman, admitted to police that he shot Trayvon in the chest. Zimmerman, the community's self appointed "neighborhood watch leader," called the police to report a suspicious person when he saw Travyon, a young black man, walking from the store. But Zimmerman still hasn't been charged for murdering our son.  Trayvon was our hero. At the age 9, Trayvon pulled his father from a burning kitchen, saving his life. He loved sports and horseback riding. At only 17 he had a bright future ahead of him with dreams of attending college and becoming an aviation mechanic. Now that’s all gone. When Zimmerman reported Trayvon to the police, they told him not to confront him. But he did anyway. All we know about what happened next is that our 17 year-old son, who was completely unarmed, was shot and killed. It's been nearly two weeks and the Sanford Police have refused to arrest George Zimmerman. In their public statements, they even go so far as to stand up for the killer - saying he's "a college grad" who took a class in criminal justice. Please join us in calling on Angela Corey, Florida's 4th District State's Attorney, to investigate my son's murder and prosecute George Zimmerman for the shooting and killing of Trayvon Martin. D.Neal Is In The Building

Moving to Atlanta, Ga in 2007 D. Neal had his mind made up that he would take over the hip hop industry. He began writing, recording and performing songs throughout the city barely finding the time to rest. Whenever he did find the time to rest D. Neal would always be alarmed by more recordings and loud music being played. Low and behold that loud music was being played by Collipark's own Tex James & Skinny P of the Kadalack Boyz who stayed right under D. Neal in the same apartment complex in College Park, Ga. It wasn't long after that everyone would get together and from there D. Neal began to hang around. He started recording as well as performing with members of the Kadalack Boyz in addition to meeting other artist and producers that were apart of the Collipark family. D. Neal eventually became a hype man for Tex James and from there he was able to learn more about the industry. With more knowledge gained, D. Neal soon began to work on his solo projects and branched off to become a true force in the industry. From there it wouldn't be long until D. Neal came across his first hit single HEADBANGER. Already knowing the perfect formula, D. Neal reached out to Tex James and Pastor Troy to feature on the record. While performing the single all over Atlanta and surrounding cities, D. Neal completed his first official mixtape "The Acceptance Speech" hosted by DJ Pretty Boy Tank just to show the people that he's out working and taking no days off. With the Headbanger single, D. Neal was starting to win shows left and right and eventually was offered to to perform in Chicago for the first annual Chi vs Atl Hip Hop Showcase in which he won as well with over 75 artist in attendance. While back in Atlanta D. Neal auditioned for the 2011 B-Day Bash along with hundreds of other artist in which he became a finalist. Knowing the power of his music as well as performance, D. Neal continued to hit the streets to prove to the people that he is a tremendous force. It wouldn't be long before he would link up with MMI's CEO LA Da Boomman. Acknowledging as well as respecting the hard work and dedication put forth, Boomman began to have D. Neal travel to different cities and states alongside to rock the stages with him. While gaining more exposure, D. Neal has also been able to learn more about the business aspect of the industry. As of right now D. Neal is almost finished with his newest mixtape "Nothin But The Truth" which has a few special features and a lot of hit records. D. Neal states that all he knows is work and he won't let up until he has captured the attention of many across the world.

"The Unspoken Truth: Variables to Violence in the LGBT Community"

There is an old saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words should never hurt me!”..Not only is this statement untrue, but words actually carry a lot of weight and responsibility when presented in a manner whether it be jokingly or somberly speaking. If you have not been made aware, on Super Bowl Sunday, Roland Martin, an analyst for CNN, sent out a contentious tweet that resulted in the Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation calling for the removal of his position from the new network. After an H&M commercial featuring an indecently clothed screening of David Beckham aired, Martin wrote on Twitter: “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!”Where do we draw the line? Many individuals may not think that this statement was harmless, but for the users of Twitter following him this was not taken lightly and violated the protection of the LGBT community. You may ask, how did this violate the protection of the LGBT community? It is simple. Who endorses violence towards any one jokingly without having an honest motive behind it?Need More Proof? The statement, which accused Martin of homophobic comments in the past, also pointed out that Martin has made fun of a man for sporting pink earlier that day. “Who the hell was that New England Patriot they just showed in a head to toe pink suit? Oh, he needs a visit from #teamwhoopdatass,” he had made.Earlier today, I was contacted about a video of a young gay male exiting a restaurant and being attacked by a gang of males whose intentions were clearly to bring harm to him. During the viewing of the video my heart literally stopped in repugnance and awe of what was taking place. I could not do anything but cry in hopes that justice would be served on the behalf of the young man. It made me sick to my stomach that this activity had been posted to a website that in high hopes would gain attraction to the site. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO? Comments such as Roland Martin’s ARE clear variables which equate VIOLENCE in the community. When comments are made public you have to take in consideration the product that will be produced. Although, the two stories have not been linked together this is just an example of what could happen. “When you think someone is not listening to you, ears are open”. [...]

Madonna - Half Time Show (Super Bowl 2012)

The legendary material girl Madonna performed for the 2012 Superbowl halftime. Personally I think she did great but I have been hearing mix reviews all day! After flipping all across the stage and all the great guest appearances she surely entertained me! I don't know what people expect from a woman in her 50's to do on stage for  them to be entertained. There are not many artist that are in her same age bracket that would be able to pull that off. Her flawless performance included guest performances from Nicki Minaj,Cee-lo Green,LMFAO, and M.I.A.

If you dint watch our rebellious child M.I.A decided she wanted to shoot the finger to all the millions and millions of fans watching at home and in the crowd. Its not really a big deal to me but they are really making it to be something bigger that it really is. Its just a finger man why be so offended!!!

Overall the whole halftime performance was creative and full of life and pure entertainment! Job well done Madonna!

Quote of the day!!!

Quote of the day!!!!
The quote of the day is really simple today! Just follow your heart and Im sure it will lead you to happiness and prosperity!!

Artist: Hussle man jlinq

Hussle Man J. LinQ Is it true? Is Hip Hop really dead? Well, the four main elements of Hip Hop are Rapping, DJing, Graffiti writing, and Break dancing; these elements are too specific, which has caused the culture to fade out as a trend, like many people thought in the past. Now, on the radio all you mostly hear is Rap, which is just an element of Hip Hop. Today’s focus for Rap is creating catchy and memorable songs to sell the most units possible, lacking any real substance to the music. As in other generations, there are always a few artists that rise above the rest to create something new not only to set a trend but create a new lifestyle and a new culture. The Midwest has produced many artists, but there is one that will rise above any that have come before him as the best ever living legend.Presented to the world from the Southeast Side of Cleveland, Ohio, is RAPPER, DANCER, SINGER, SONGS WRITER, MUSIC PRODUCER, ACTOR, BEAT MAKER, and POERTY WRITER, Hussle Man J. LiNQ. Hussle Man J. LiNQ's music is not only a new structure of music, but will influence lifestyles to embrace a new culture. His records mainly have socially conscious themes, but he makes many “feel good” songs to add an element of fun to always keep people dancing at parties. Hussle Man J. LiNQ's music and beats bring together many different musical cultures and genres to create a new sound. CHeck Him Out!!!!! [...]
