Mystery Peeps are back on the shelves exclusively at Walmart this spring and come in three new mystery flavors for you to solve.

Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's on April 10, 2018

Ben & Jerry's will be holding their annual Free Cone Day at scoop shops everywhere on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 12 PM to 8 PM.

During the event, you can get any scoop of ice cream in a cup or cone for free. Additionally, should you have a hankering for more ice cream, you can get back in line as many times as you like.

If you're looking to try the most popular flavors, you can find a list of the top ten best-selling flavors here.

For something new, the brand introduced a few truffle-inspired flavors in January, a line of light ice cream in February, and most recently, a limited-time S'mores flavor.

In case you need a reminder for the freebie, you can sign up for one on the Ben & Jerry's website here.

KFC Introduces New Waffle Double Down in Canada

If you fancy yourself KFC's rendition of chicken and waffles, you may wish to book a trip up north to Canada where the fried chicken chain is set to introduce the new Waffle Double Down starting March 26, 2018.

The new, limited-time menu item features two fried chicken filets sandwiching a Belgian waffle and, for a Canadian touch, maple aioli sauce.

While the Double Down has sported several permutations across the globe (including one combining beef, pork, and chicken, a hot dog version, and one with a rice patty), this marks the first time waffles have found a place inside the sandwich. It hasn't been seen here in the US since 2014.

McDonald's Reveals New Turtle Coffee Line-Up

McDonald's reveals a trio of Turtle coffee beverages as their next seasonal McCafe offering starting in April 2018.

Turtle generally refers a candy that somewhat resembles a turtle and is made with pecans and caramel dipped in chocolate. McDonald's take features a blend of chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut flavors.

The drink in the new, limited-time line-up are as follows:

Turtle Macchiato - A combination of chocolate, caramel and hazelnut syrup stirred into steamed milk and espresso. It is topped with a sweet chocolate drizzle and served hot for a delicious treat.

- Iced Turtle Macchiato - A mix of chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut syrups layered with milk, ice, and espresso, topped with chocolate drizzle.

- Iced Turtle Coffee - Iced coffee and cream with chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut flavors.

Given that McDonald's already stocks chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut syrup for their McCafe beverages, you can probably custom order the flavor (or a reasonable facsmile) once it's off the menu.

As with the rest of McDonald's McCafe menu, small-size Turtle drinks will be available for $2 (hot or iced) under a long-running promotion.

New Taco Bell Tortilla Chips Coming to Grocery Stores in May 2018

Taco Bell invades the chip aisle with the launch of a new line of packaged tortilla chips starting in May 2018.

The new line is inspired by the chain's sauce packets in both flavor and in the design of the bags. The chips come in three flavors;

- Fire - Flavored like Taco Bell's Fire sauce, with hints of jalapenos, chili peppers, and paprika.
- Mild - The flavor of Taco Bell's Mild sauce, with hints of three chili peppers and cumin.
- Classic - Simply tossed with salt

The packaging of the new chips resembles the chain's sauce packages with the similar quips and sayings on the bag. Fire and Mild will come in 1-oz, 3.5-oz, 11-oz, and 30-oz bags, while Classic will be available in 1-oz, 3.5-oz, 13-oz, and 30-oz bags. You'll be able to find them in both grocery and convenience stores.

It'll be interesting to see if the new chips are similar to the bags of tortilla chips that Taco Bell tested at a few of their restaurants back in 2015.
