I just made this jam and it is great! Tastes just like apple pie! And it makes so much! I canned them into half pint jars so that the portion size would be good for using on pork roasts, etc. I can't wait to try it out on my next roast! This is a great use of the apples grown from our trees that are too tart for anything other than baking!

Thanks for this very tasty recipe!! I made it in three loaf pans to share with family. It freezes well, and can be served with cream cheese for a variety. This recipe is a definite keeper.

My mom would cook it on top of the stove. The last 20 or so minutes she would put drop dumplings on top and let them cook. So loved that meal. I do mine in the crock pot and my family loves it.

As a French, I have traditional culinary habits and we don't use to mix corn with stewed beef but all of us should change their culinary mind because corn seems to go really well with meat. I'm gonna amaze friends and family :)
