Wow, I am so jealous! That must have been amazing! Was your hubby more impressed by the end of the class? The madeleines look divine!

Look who is talking about accent:) I've lived in USA for the past 6 years and I can't get rid of my Azerbaijani mixed with Russian accent when I speak English:)) Your madelines look great - yum!

As a non Southerner married to a Southerner I am accent challenged sometimes, although it's his family and friends who have the thickest! The madeleines are jumping right out of the pan in that first picture! They look fabulous!

Sounds like a great opportunity! How lucky you are! I've still not yet made madeleines but I do have the pan for them. No excuses!

I've never made madelines, but after your post I may just have to go and buy some of those cute little pans! What a fantastic class! I hope to take some cooking classes soon, and if I can find a sitter, maybe some at the New School in NYC. Just got their summer catalog and can't wait to sit and daydream about all the classes I'd love to take!

Yea! Another lemon recipe and chance to pull out my madeleine pan! I'll have to compare this lemon one to the lemon one I've made in the past...

Those Madeleines look great. Super jealous of you and your cooking class with your hubby and David Leibovitz. Sounds like so much fun!
