First time I wear I feel comfort but a little bit irritate on my leg because there is no gel on the top of the boots. So far I feel comfort on feet but bit irritate on the leg. For the size, I have to upgrade one size. Normally,I wear size 7(US size) for Timberland King Bay but for this boots I wear size 7.5 (US Size) I ordered size 9, which is what usually fits me. When the boots arrived, they were very tight. It seems like they are at least one size too small. Why would they mis-label them like thatAlso, the sole of the foot is some weird thing supposedly to provide comfort but it moves so it actually makes it more uncomfortable. If you remove it, the base is too thin. These are very nice leather chelsea boots that are well-made and welll-stitched. They look very nice with jeans for casual wear around the city. Be aware, however, that they tend to run a full size too large. I wear a size 15 and had to return the 15's I ordered because they were way too large. I've requested a size 14 on the re-order and will update when the replacements arrive. Update: I've received the size 14 replacements and they do fit as a size 15. They come a little more scuffed than they appear both on the Frye website and on Amazon's. Also, Frye sizes seem to run big. I wear from 11-12 shoes depending on the maker but these 10.5 fit great. The Timberland Earthkeeper was a great buy for the price! They're very comfortable. I wear them all the time. I will definitely purchase another pair.
These are OK, but not great. They are just a bit on the big side, and the insole is hard. I had to go buy insoles to help me fill them out and feel comfy in them. They do look good. Decent buy, but don't pay the normal 100 price--find them on sale to make it a good deal.
I was prepared not to like these, since Timberland is now making their shoes in Asia. However, these are excellent. |
