i made it today, and taking a cue from dadiji, didn't tell hubby initially what was in it but there was one problem according to him: they got over too soon!

Anjali J:
Thanks for dropping by.

Happy Cook:
You are right. Generally, most of the people make faces to humble bittergourd. and here, it's one step further with bittergourd peels!!;-) So this "do not tell" policy.

Trupti:
Thanks for your feedback.

Vanamala:
Thanks. Glad you liked it.

Divya Vikram:
Thanks for your kind words.

Archy:
Thanks for your encouraging words.

Richa:
Recipe different che, you are right. but fun thing is it doesnt taste bitter, provided salt, squeezing, rinsing step is followed.

Uma:
Thanks for your encouraging words. It means a lot.

Kalai:
Ha ha!! Nice way to sneaking in peels, isn't it?

Dhivya:
Thanks so much.

Niya:
Hey, so happy to see you. Hope you are doing great.

Purnima:
All of my grandmothers used to sneak in such things. Paternal grandmother used to make a great use of ridgegourd/dudhi peels for chutney & cauliflower stems for bhaji, maternal grandmom used to make sanna pollo with padwal seeds. and now grandmom-in-law uses karela peels!!:-)

Bhawana:
Ha ha! Thanks, dear!

Vandy:
It was my pleasure to visit your beautiful blog. Happy Blogging.

Saswati:
I should have clarified it in my post. I will update it. No, it doesnt taste bitter a bit!;-) but you need to follow the step of salt, squeezing water and rinsing.
