We liked this dish very much when I made it with white basmati rice. Yesterday, I made it with brown basmati rice and it was awesome!! =). In future I will make this only with brown basmati rice.

We make coconut pachadi(chuteny) similar way, we add jaggery and corainder leaves instead of seeds and minus sesame. But for podi we use same ingredients. Yummy dish. Love the recipe. Thanks for sharing
