I completely related to everything you have written here. Been there, done that! Landed straight from Delhi in Blore and loved every bit of my life there! Our office cafeteria also had a Bong cook, who introduced fried mackerel in the evenings! And boy I would just work late to eat that.

Did you miss out on the Hot Chips and NandHini's Biryani? And the mutton rolls from Lazeez (K'mangala and Commercial Street)?

Linda

It means "please adjust a little". This was the common refrain I would hear from auto-drivers (auto rickshaws are popular in India as they are less expensive than cabs) on my way back home from work.

It would be late, there would be potholes, the fare would be hiked and for all of these the driver would say "swalpa adjust maadi"

Just trying to change up the template, and trying out various ones. Except I have no time to do it properly!

Anyways, I'm sick of bloggers templates. They are all so boring! Im thinking of changing to wordpress....

You guys have put a lot of effort to changing up the templates so they look good, and i'm lazy.

thanks for dropping by :)

ps. I'm on my moms butt to get her to write something for the DMC.

Now I tried to look up swalpa adjust maadi. I didn't get far, but sounds a bit like "taking it all in stride" to me. Care to enlighten? :)

LOVELY presentation, Sandeepa. The colors, textures and composition are first rate. And your dedications are equally nuanced and pleasing.

Why would anyone laugh at your request for sugar with your curd? Is that just not done? Is curd a soft, delicate paneer?

lovely presentation Sandeepa:)
