Hi Ravi,thanks man.I always find it difficult to (add hot water to rice flour)make rottis the usual way.By cooking rice flour,shaping the rottis become easier for me.
Have you tried Coorgi style akki rotti? It's in my other blog(see recipe Index).Try it:))

I love the idea of rice rotis. We are about to go away on our boat with friends and he is a celiac and these rice roti could be great for lunch. I guess as an accompanient for lots of spicy dishes.
Is it rice flour that you use? also Chana dal?...can you just use yellow splt peas?

We have a huge family back there,they drop in hoards like 8-10 ppl at a time and stay in B'lore until they are done shopping, movies etc, go back home and back again few days after!It was a nightmare for me.They will not "lift a glass" as we say,just poor old me serving them all day! Depends on what kind of guests you get

Yup!! Gojju is versatlie,throw in anything with little water and spices,yu have got Gojju!;D This one simple form of all Gojjus.Give it a try.

This sabzi is new to me. Looks delicious. My moms makes pulusu (stew) out of Indian Spring onions. We call them ullikadalu. That's one of my fav.

Also my sis makes rice rotti, she adds carrot and cumin for crunch.

I like the crunchy and fresh and not so bitter taste of green onions and always put them in raita...
