I could not never make Jowar Roti till today properly. Tried so many ways going to different sites. Today is the first time I could make it following your simple and easy recipe. Thank you so much. 5 starts to your recipe and for sharing it. None of the folks/recipes posted in various sites could tell it the way you did it and waste of time going to these sites.

Was there a lot of dry flour added while rolling? You can also try putting it upside down a few times while rolling.

Hello Namaskara! I tried making joladha rotti and found only one side is looking correct and the other side is bit white in colour. But good thing is that, the rotti didn't break when turned upside down.. Can you pls guide me how to make both side look the same?

The easiest way is to add 1 teaspoon of Psyllium Husk (isabgol) mixed with water. It makes the dough like wheat - pliable and elastic. It rolls out like wheat dough. Puffs up like wheat roti. Any gluten free flour (ragi, jowar, bajri etc.) can be rolled with a teaspoon of Psyllium Husk with ease. It is the best substitute for gluten and you get added fibre.
