Let's don't forget about the world famous Gary Talley (class of 65). This guy was lead guitar for the Boxtops, then went on to a successful career as a studio musician in Nashville for the likes of Willie Nelson, Pam Tillis, Tammy Wynette, Waylon Jennings, Pat Boone, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Dobie Gray, Freda Payne, Billy Joe Royal, and the Beatles (nah, I lied about that last one, but all the others are FACT). He even toured with Sam Moore (Sam & Dave) and became the new "Dave" for a few years.
Gary is a successful Guitar teacher, and has produced mutimedia DVDs to teach aspiring guitarists and song writers for tomorrow. He's an award-sinning songwriter himself. He's a funny guy, as well as a musical talent. He's been my buddy since first grade at Sherwood, and I am proud to call him friend.

Hi Jane! A book sounds great! I could help you find info on the internet. If you use someone's pictures I believe you'd need to ask permission. You can right click on any picture you find and save the image and this can go right into your book if you're writing it on a computer. I'm no expert at this but it could be done. Let me know what I can do.
