Ya know...with a projector and some paint, you could do the same thing in the size you need... just sayin'

Ess--

Oh, I don't think the family would be too pleased either. That, of course, wouldn't necessarily stop me, but...well--sometimes a girl can't contain all the love/lust she has for her art. Hahaha!

Vickie always has some of the best stories and links to share, it's a wonder I don't constantly find myself broke and in the dog-house with the significant other.

Brianna, you are not alone :D I saw the house too. But I went on to do exactly what you did and now, I love it. Although, I am not sure DH would still be with me if I put this up on our wall :D

Vickie, thanks so much for sharing.

Okay, I'm admitting that it took me at least five minutes to figure out what the hell the mural was of. It wasn't until I went to the site of the artist(?) and changed the background color that I even realized what it was supposed to be of. At first I thought it was an abstract of a house and bare tree branches (I know, I don't know what's wrong with me either). When I changed the background to white, however, the hands popped out and the lightbulb went off.

I think those are amazing. And if the room is as wide as the edge of the hands, it'll look as though they just peeled out from the corners of the room. How beautiful.

I wonder if anyone will ever make a crochet version? Of course, if there were one, family members might have to help keep me from putting one in every room, since my crochet (and yarn) are all over the place.
