What I wouldn't do for a Thai massage right now! You really are globe trotting at the moment Joey. Look forward to reading about Hong Kong. I went before the handover back to China. I'd love to go again to see if it has changed at all. Hope you have a wonderful time.

Hi Katrina! I know what you mean...I was surprised at how surprised I was, hehe :) I agree, I think because of all the detail you don't feel like everyone is seeing the same one thing...as for me, I had no idea what I was going to see in Bangkok so maybe that helped ;)

Hi Marvin! Thanks :) I'm glad you enjoyed the post!

Hi Bee! They can pay me in food! Hehe :)

Hi Didi! It won't take much o convince me to go back too, heehee...I'm am falling in love with Asia :) It's about time!

Hi Barbara! It really is...the flavors were just so incredible...as well as the sights :)

Hi M! Nope, we got a massage at a very random place that C picked out...another adventure, haha! :)

Hi Dhanggit! Heehee...it would take a LOT more trips to write a eating guide to Bangkok...what I wouldn't do to be the one to write it!

Thanks Tanna! I had a wonderful time :)

Hi Veron! One more post to go...up soon I hope :) Still catching up on work!

Did you do your massage at Wat Pho?
I like the little emerald buddha, perched on his pedestal.

Although I love Thai food I've never had any desire to visit Bangkok. Oh Joey you have changed all that for me. Your report makes it sound so inviting. I think to experience Thai food in its homeland must be very special.

That was something I didn't get to do... Go around the spots in the city. Which is actually good because it makes an excuse to go back again!! hahaha..

Hong Kong! :) Coolness! Such an Asian jetsetter ah! :)

We, too, were entranced by the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Somehow, even reading and hearing about its size and gleaming gold-ness just doesn't prepare you for it. The moment we set foot inside, we were transfixed!

And you're so right about feeling like each piece of beauty is a personal discovery. Maybe because everything's so incredibly detailed and there's so much to see, I never got the feeling (like I have with a few other tourist spots) that I was just seeing the same thing I saw on postcards or guide book pictures.
