Congratulations on your 200th episode. I knew I should have shown up at McVeighs last night to celebrate. Ian, now that you're drinking again, I'll buy the first round if I ever get there..... Ian, I get what you're saying about the accountability factor, but seriously, not everyone is using their own credit card to sign up (think parents or siblings or significant other) so you could still be sort of 'anonymous'. Additionally, given the dearth of information available for free or a small fee on the web, it could prove to be a little more dangerous to put your real name out there for cyber stalking etc. As a woman, I would be rather reluctant to give one more piece of information about myself that would allow others to find me. On the flip side of that, I try very hard to be fair and balanced in my postings, simply because I have very little time for trolls. It would be wonderful if everyone else were so grown up about it, but realistically, that isn't happening. If we stop feeding the trolls, perhaps they will eventually die off. A girl can dream, right?

If Kevin would consider switching it up to a Harajuku girl, tell him I'd be willing to apply. I have all sorts of useless talents. Many thanks to Ian for the shout out and for remembering me as a listener. Happy third anniversary guys. Can't wait for the rebrand and the next episode. Wish I could have been there to help celebrate. Maybe in year 4.....

one more thing. Check out celebrity birthdays here: Todd, I had no idea you and the Diceman shared a birthday..... Sept 29 you said, right?

You mention the whole "buddy of Jesus" thing and all I can think of is the Christopher Moore book Lamb - the gospel according to Biff. It's almost as funny as you guys. Am (as always), thrilled to hear more estrogen on this 'cast. don't listen to the haters Darcy - hungry, hungry hobo still makes me laugh.

No worries at all about the question. I know you're good for them. Normally. But the pressure of the tweet...I understand. You're really going to have to watch out for people's feet with all the name dropping you're doing. Agreed. She, like you, rules!

Sorry, Todd, I'll come up with better questions next time. Weird that you mentioned Daniel Craig - this show was basically all about people I know. Janey Godley rules!

Thank you for your kind words, indeed the Canadian ladies love the British accent... ;-P

all I could think of, while listening to Imran talk about not using the C word, is Fawlty Towers - "Don't mention the war!" I think the British accent always leads me back to John Cleese..... Thank you Imran, so very much for gracing this podcast with your presence again. Keep bringing the hot accented men back please! You know how much I adore them....

Comment on TVA Podcast 183: Tracey Hoyt by Shell

I want to be Tracey Hoyt when I grow up. She's beautiful, intelligent, talented and funny as hell. Please keep bringing the ladies back. I love hearing funny ladies who don't feel the need to male bash as part of their act.

Comment on TVA Podcast 184: Jason Patterson by Shell

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou for bringing out another beautiful man with an accent. I can now officially enjoy my weekend. You know Darcy, if you let that east coast accent out a bit more, I might start gushing over you too...... :) Tremendously funny is Mr.Patterson. I can't wait to see/hear more from him. This episode made me laugh out loud and reminded me yet again why I love you boys so very much.

A few days ago I stumbled upon your site while searching bing for bowling tips/tricks. Your site wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it was packed with information otherwise. Now I find myself continuing to read more and more posts and I love it!

Comment on TVA Podcast 178: Ron Josol by Shell

nice episode guys - I don't think i've laughed as much as I did when Ron was describing his "experience" at 18. One *minor* flaw - you went to break and there's dead air until you come back.

I think you need to update the intro to this, now that there's only one radio station involved......

Comment on TVA Podcast 175: Aaron Berg by Shell

Thu, 28 Jan 2010 21:24:30 +0000

Can I just say 'giggle'? Aaron is brilliant! And he even makes you look good Todd! (just kidding). Not really sure what the new mixer brings to the table, but I feel like I should say money well spent. "was that an old Tupac album?" Priceless. I don't know if I'd say that Conan is funnier than Leno - they're very different comics to me. I think I still love Letterman most - well, second to you TVA ;) One of these days I'm going to take some time away from the old grindstone and come down to witness the birth of the podcast. Just once, I'd like the guest to be able to say "oh THAT Shelley - she's so great" instead of "Who??" Thanks again for the laughs gentlemen. As always, you've made my week.

Comment on TVA Podcast 174: Jo-Anna Downey by Shell

Fri, 22 Jan 2010 19:33:29 +0000

Thank you SO much for bringing Jo-Anna back. I adore her! I have to ask though - exactly what is Ian doing there? He's got some good commentary, but mostly he's mute - not exactly a good thing on a podcast. Speak up already :)

Thanks for googling for us, Shell. Kissmas? Well, let's say all was smoothed over with Sens v. Sabres tix. I'm pretty smooth, me.

Thanks for the feedback, Goob! Glad you liked it. We're off to a good start this year with the podcasts and like the way they're shaping up. Should be a good year. Thanks again for listening! tva

TVA, You can't do Talking Canadian again!!!! It hurts too much, a man can only laff for so long. Next time you do the podcast don't hold back, and also next time tell Monica to invite her brother over ;-), i'd like to meet the man who broke my record, up until your episode mine was the longest talking canadian, you're right.... the sign of a good podcast is when you go 'that was an hour?!?!?, where did the time go?' It looks like I have one more podcast to listen to. Goober

Comment on TVA Podcast 171: Sam Rankin and Dave Paterson by Shell

Dave, I think "I like steak" would be my response to discussions about brussels sprouts as well. I am completely in love with Sam's voice. Wish i sounded like that....

Comment on TVA Podcast 170: Bob Kerr by Kaori

Listened to this episode just to spite you, Todd. I kid! Nice episode. Bob is one of my all-time favourite guests.

Podcast was worth listening to until the bitter end, if only to hear Todd say onesies like he knew what he was talking about. You forgot one of the silliest (and yet still makes me howl every time) Bill Murray movies and that's What about Bob? Glad to see Darcy back - missed those dulcet tones my friend. Tell mister kerr that I will be checking out his podcast and that i will be comparing it to yours in the hopes that it measures up. ;) Merry Christmas you guys. See you in the new year.
