Deli, I think it isnt vandalism, it is a transient remedy, it isnt for long time. It is kind of Critical Design. with this sticker we want to say it is enough, stop it.

The Cidade Limpa law is actually mentioned in the film in some depth. I agree, there is some way to go. Hopefully all the other cities catch up and follow Sao Paulo's example!

I live in Sao Paulo, and we had this law called Cidade Limpa (clean town) that forbid all kinds of ads in public space - outdoor, buildings, buses, etc... many commerces even had to facelift their facades if they had logos or displays over a certain size.

I still think this city is ugly, but I hope Sao Paulo is an example to be followed at least in the visual-pollution department :)

This is crazy. This is also very distracting for drivers passing by. I wonder by how much traffic accidents increased in the neighborhood because of the sign.

Great creative project for high schoolers! I'm using this in my art class and have written a cross-curriculum lesson for it! Thinking critically like this is how we should teachers our adolescents to express themselves through visual irony, satire, ridicule, obsurdity, and ridiculousness of our consumer based society.
