yes, that's right. There is bound to be a large amount of images I wouldn't want my kids/grandkids to see. Only problem is: I don't have them. My friends have them. And they won't delete them, that's for sure ;)

nice insights and thoughts.
i even had a friend who taped randomly what happened on television the hours my son was born ..
and digital cameras very much changed my life, too -- just returning from a 2-week vacation, i found about 500 (!) photos on my camera .. but only ~20 really worth being archived .. the rest will be burned on CD and drop somewhen, just as happened to a lot of my digitally archived documents and pictures. CDs get scratched on and become unreadable, or just get lost. but the good stuff always is secured somehow a couple of times :)
and yet, we can hope to loose a lot of all the "date-dandy" stuff, and just keep the good stuff for forthcoming generations ;-)
