Is Dr. Kevin the type who likes extravagant golf outings with Big Pharma reps?

Sorry I have not tackled this answer sooner MeB, but I only have one good day a week these days to deal with the minor everyday emergencies that complicate life - and they've been building up while I battled this evil stone - which has still yet to pass. Today is the first day in a week that I've not been totally nauseated and/or aching all over.

OF COURSE, we have common ground. We're both doctors. But, over the last ten years, I've had a bellyful of doctors who sit on the sidelines and watch their colleagues be roasted & victimized by the corporate beast that has taken over our profession . . . as long as they can keep their big salary or big grant or whatever.

As a prominent medical blogger, Kevin has the chance to use his "high profile" to really tell the stories of the ugly underbelly of medicine . . . to really pull back that "curtain" he talks about in his "about" section.

Asheboro is FULL of doctors just like Kevin Pho, who sold me out to hold on to their particular status quo.

And for that reason, medically, Asheboro remains what it always has been . . . a pawn of Cone Hosptial.

I wonder what it might have been if there had been physicians of courage and conviction to stand up to the likes of Bob Morrison and Steven Eblin and their "it's our way or the highway" sense of community "vision".

any common ground left?
