Last year I started my blog, Through the Hourglass, to write about the people I've passed along the way through years of research in American history, culture and education.

Hi, Thanks for the list. Like Kevin Lynch, I was wondering if you regularly update the interesting list & what you do with cultural blogs which are not solely about books, or art, or music - but a mix and combine cultural posts with a blogroll of other interesting cultural blogs? Thanks, Kate

Thanks for sharing such a great list of art blogs. There is one more social platform, where artistic bloggers can publish and promote their blogs.

One of my favs http://www.fluorodigital.com/. This however is culture and design the world over and doesn't just focus on one form of culture.

This looks like an excellent list of culture blocks which I will dip into. I'm happy to see so much coverage of culture on line. However, it strikes me as curious that you only list blogs that are separated into individual generic "ghettos." I'm surprised you list no blogs that address culture more broadly, which is what I attempt to do in my award-winning blog Culture Currents (Vernaculars Speak). I write about all of the arts, but most often music (especially jazz, creative musics and roots music) and visual arts, and books, theater and movies occasionally (need to do more dance). But I also do culture travel blogs and address political issues in cultural contexts. I hope you check my blog out and I hope the Big List finds room for more encompassing culture blogs. Thanks, KL

Sanatan Dharma is the oldest culture in the world, and there was a time when it was spread throughout the world. People can findswastika  in every culture like the American Indians, Greece, troy, Italy, Russia and many other countries have this symbol. Look at the 108 symbols of god in Sanatan Dharma and their origin. Things will become very clear about the origin of humanity in this world. It is time to free ourselves from the lies and deception spread throughout the world about our culture. Dont forget, even today in Sanskrit  and Hindi   the words for Divorce and any other abusive words do not exist.
