I'm glad you're getting such a positive, obvious response! Sometimes the effects of good eating are more subtle and harder to *see.*

Keep up the good work--compliance and blogging!

Joan- oh that is the reaction I have to oats, even the gluten free/wheat free ones. It's miserable. I'll have to watch out for that with rice. My symptoms are more digestive, with rice, so far as I've noticed.

I went low carb around Christmas. In January I ate a meal that involved a reasonable amount of rice noodles--the next morning I had terrific pain in the back of my knee. It took about six weeks to resolve. Some time after that I ate 1/2 cup of brown rice and my lower back went out. That took 2 chiropractic appointments and three weeks to resolve. No more grains for me!

On the genotype diet, some O types are allowed whey.

I fill up the blendtec blender to the 2 cup line with ice, then sparkling water up to the one cup line, and pom juice up to the 2 cup line. I use the ice crush setting. Some may prefer a bit of agave, but it's refreshing without it.
