The actions of the Israeli government defy logic. What is most irritating to me is when Olmert insists that he is not negotiating with Hamas while he is negotiating with Hamas. This truce will be the same as all others. Hamas will fire just the right amount of rockets that Israel will not respond, while they replenish their armies as Hezbula did. It would be nice to give the people of the Western Negev a Hafsaka, but it would be far better to permanently end the conflict by defeating Hamas. Stan

As the U.S. is about to attack Iran, it is the absolute responsibility of everybody in uniform to disobey an order that is either illegal or immoral, including the use of weapons of mass destruction. They cannot commit crimes against humanity.
