hhopper, do you know everything? Every time there's a question of what something is or does you have the answer. Where is your temple located, I wish to worship-lol.

I am sorry # 25 hhopper, but you brought into an obvious CIA cover story here. This is blatant CIA "window dressing" - Ancillary web sites used in a cover story or deception operation to help convince casual observers that the cover story they are observing is genuine. My sources tell me the web site was put together by GAD - The Graphics and Authentication Division of the CIA, responsible for operational disguise and false documentation capabilities for the CIA. Just between the two of us, the official purpose of the device is demonstrated here. (object) (embed) This video will self destruct 50 sec. after viewing it.

It's an interocitor, of course. the triangular viewing screen must be hidden in there somewhere.

After a little (make that a lot) of research, it's a mind expander. From
The seat shell fixes two persons in a certain position. The lower seat allows one person to sit with their legs slightly open. The thigh of their right leg rests against a step forming the transition to a second seat area that is higher by the thickness of a thigh. A helmet-like balloon that is connected with the seat can be tilted over the heads of the two people seated. Their heads thus are enclosed a narrow cylindrical space that is covered by a glass-clear plastic dome above which a transparent balloon hovers. A series of lines and stamped-out shapes made of reflective foil are placed on both the dome and the surface of the balloon in such a way that, depending on whether you concentrate on the level closer or further away from you, the elements constantly overlay each other to form new patterns.
Here's the single seat version: (image)

Whatever it is, Woody Allen thought of it first (or his writers did) in "Sleeper". It's an early Orgasmatron. They'll get it right eventually.
