Thanks to their Facebook page, Planet X have updated their more recent upcoming project with new painted prototype images! Aptly named “Apocalypse“, this project is Planet X’s take on War for Cybertron Trypticon, a figure that’s been highly anticipated since his initial reveal last year. According to their Facebook Fanpage a new 8-episode Netflix series is coming soon. They have shared a picture of their season planning board that let us know the toylines that will star each episode: Star Wars, G.I Joe, Barbie, He-Man, Star Trek, Hello Kitty, Lego and Transformers, of course. Via Ozformers, we have learned that the next promotion that McDonalds in Australia will be offering through their Happy Meals will be Transformers Robots in Disguise! The McDonalds Australia website shows off a total of five figures being offered – Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Strongarm, and Drift. Each one has articulated arms, plus either sword accessories Optimus and Drift), missile launchers (Grimlock and Strongarm) or oversized, butterfly looking door wings (Bumblebee). Couple of weeks ago, we reported that Hasbro Toy Shop has been updated with a new line of Rescue Bots Flipracers. Entertainment Earth now lists several more Flipracers and additional launchers. Joining previously revealed Heatwave, Optimus Prime, Hoist, and Medix are Sideswipe, Blurr, Chase, Boulder, Salvage, Bumblebee and Blades. Bumblebee and Blades are part of two Launcher Sets, while the others are part of two 3-Packs titled as ‘Griffin Rock Racing Team‘ and ‘Griffin Rock Construction Team‘. The full preview for the third issue of IDW Publishing’s Optimus Prime ongoing has been posted by Newsarama, as the Autobots’ investigation into the newcomers to Earth, the Junkions, continues; meanwhile, a flashback to a pre-war Cybertron shows readers Soundwave’s first meeting with Orion Pax. The interesting part is that we see the previously reported possible Autobot Combiner together with a new Decepticon combiner which looks like Menasor.
