Definitely hot, but that doesn't detract one whit from her message (whit? wit?) which IMO was unassailable. Thanks, Dean.

D'oh! "Protein Wisdom dimwits weren’t right about one thing" should, of course, read: "Protein Wisdom dimwits were right about one thing"

PS. I would be remiss if I did not point out (as a proud heterosexual male) that the Protein Wisdom dimwits weren't right about one thing: Ms. Logan is hot. Elegant, beautiful, and intelligent. Oh, and courageous.

The commentary over at Protein Wisdom (sic) dwelt rather extensively on Lara's hawtness, and rather thinly on the substance of what she said. Not surprising, really. I wrote something yesterday about this very subject, about how people who are losing start to blame the media. In that post, I made reference to this article, where a Dean of Journalism says exactly the same thing that Lara says. Iraq is lost. America has been beaten, and just as in the last years of the Vietnam debacle, the right will attack reporters who tell the truth about that.

Hiya :) The way I see it... The administration is putting a positive spin on a sad story. Why is anyone surprised by this? A snake cannot fly; so why do people become defensive or angry when a snake slithers instead of flies? It doesn't make sense to me when someone just wishes or hopes things would be different, instead of taking an action more in line with their expectations. If a person wants to see some flying, they need to stock their white house with something winged. 12 million more votes were counted in the 2000 election than the 2004 election.

Thanks, everyone. Kate, I'll have to find that WaPo post. (Dammit, Kate, you're making me work.) JP, I let you know what I think of LL over at your place ;)

Man, she's hot, ain't she? Smart and sexy and LIBERAL! I don't walk the line, btw.

The wing-nut reactions I saw seemed to be limited to talking about her sexiness or lack of it. Hardly worth getting too worked up about--did I miss some actual non-sex remarks? Speaking of reactions, I liked Joel Achenbach's blogged response at the Washington Post about the box-turtle affair.

Will do. The video rocked. Not surprised at the reaction though. If they'll badmouth Helen Thomas there's no low they won't stoop to.
