one problem I am seeing with a lot of the code on here is that there are no parentheses for “print”. This may be just an issue with me, but if you can, can you please fix it?

Comment on Fake Dawn version 1.1 available on Google Play and F-Droid by Balau

I'm sorry, Android changed the alarm functionality between versions. I would have to rewrite and retest some of the code, but I don't know when I will. For now, Fake Dawn is incompatible with Android 7

Hi, I was used to use fake dawn from time to time, I like it a lot ! But since I’m on Android 7, it doesn’t work everytime. Sometimes, the screen isn’t activated before the sound begins, and this morning the screen had stayed off while the sound was playing… and the app wasn’t launched, so that I had to kill the service. My config: Xperia z5

As mentioned in some of the comment above, maybe adding a device tree file to QEMU command line (-dtb option) should fix the boot.

Hi, I have the same problem as Ismail H. KOSE mentioned, I have tried to run this example and the previous one (from the old post) on the linux kernel version 4.9 but it seems that qemu is stuck with a black screen (Its graphical window) and not doing anything. (I have compiled the kernel in Ubuntu after running sudo apt-get install gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi) What may be the problem? something with the output configurations maybe? there is a way to debug it? Thank you! P.S When i tried to run an example from here: https://gist.github.com/Liryna/10710751 on a vmlinuz image – it worked fine – maybe something wrong with the zImage?
