Do You Watch the Chris Matthews Show Wed, 19 Nov 2008 03:57:00 +0000 ![]() Almost every Sunday I wake up and make myself a cup of coffee and plop down on the sofa to watch the Chris Matthews Show. The latest dNeero.com conversation was about an episode of Chris Matthews. He was interested in hearing something he did not know about the Obama transition. The panelists were discussing what changes Obama to prepare for his job as the next President of the United States of America. It was interesting to hear about the changes already occurring in cities around the country. On The Chris Matthews Show, November 16th Chris Matthews leads with: "`It's not my job.' We've got a financial Katrina on our hands. Recession and layoffs are pouring through the floodgates, and nobody's in charge. Bush looks retired, Barack Obama's not president. So who's protecting us? "Mandate for change? When Reagan and Bush won, they charged ahead with a conservative vision. Will Obama do what Reagan and Bush did, do it big and bold no matter how tough the times? The Democrats are in the driver's seat. Shouldn't they drive?" The panelists: -- Michele Norris hosts "All Things Considered" on National Public Radio. -- Howard Fineman is senior Washington correspondent for Newsweek. -- Erin Burnett anchors"Squawk on the Street" and "Street Signs" on CNBC. -- Michael Duffy's assistant managing editor of Time magazine. Supposedly, young black men are hiking up their pants, cutting off their dread locks, joining the military or going back to school. I haven't really seen the changes they were discussing in Orlando but then again, I don't get out much. The questions asked by my fellow dNeero-ites were interesting too. Is Obama really going to make a change for the better in America? Is Obama going to deliver on the promises he made? What promise is he going to tackle first? Did I vote for Obama? Am I happy about it? On another note, I am happy to report, I have received my second payment from Dneero.com for participating in these online conversations. ![]()
Sportswear, When and Where? Wed, 12 Nov 2008 20:52:00 +0000 Do you think it's appropriate to wear sports attire everywhere? Do you wear it for comfort or do you wear it because it has been endorsed by a celebrity and it's the trendy thing to do?I live in Florida so I spend a lot of top in shorts because it's cooler and when it's cooler I like running my errands in sneakers and a nice comfortable pair of jogging pants. I don't think it's appropriate to wear a sports bra and a workout shorts to the grocery store even though I have witnessed quite a few people doing that. Oh well, what's comfortable for one person, isn't always comfortable for another. A more sporty, casual approach to clothing is permeating our lives ... remember when athletic shoes, were for, well, athletics? ... did you ever wear Chick Taylor's outside of the gym ... then came the sports shoe craze ... is high-performance fitness/sports clothing going to follow? Seems to be making some in roads.
Barack Obama Elected as the Next President of the US Wed, 12 Nov 2008 19:37:00 +0000 The U.S. Presidential Election is over ... he did it ... Barack Obama won! What did editorials across the world say, imply, question, disparage, hope, ...? How do you feel about the newly elected President Barack Obama? Will he deliver on his promises? At this point, I'm not too sure how I feel about Barack Obama being the next President of the United States. I voted for John McCain and well they lost. The reason I didn't vote for Obama is because I wasn't too impressed with his experience in comparison to John McCain. I am hoping President Elect, Barack Obama will be able to deliver on the promises he made to the American people during his campaign. He promised "CHANGE". I do believe America is in desperate need of change. Let's just hope, it's the kind of change America needs. <[...]
A Trip to the Zoo Wed, 12 Nov 2008 13:09:00 +0000 Today was another chance to donate the earnings of my dNeero.com conversation to charity. The conversations was about zoos. How often do I visit the zoo? Is it cruel to cage animals? What's my favorite animal?Lucky for me I live in Florida and there's a lot of cool places to go and see all kinds of animals. There's even a neat little petting zoo I can visit and take a hay ride. But Sea World is my favorite place to visit. Not too big on Gatorland. ![]()

My Small Problem With dNeero.com Wed, 05 Nov 2008 03:04:00 +0000 Technically, there really isn't a small problem with dneero.com but more like a small problem with how I decided to share my results. About five days ago I completed a couple of dNeero.com conversations and ran into a small problem. Normally, I have absolutely no problem obtaining the amount of impressions required in order to be paid. Yesterday afternoon I logged in to dneero.com to check my stats and was a little bit shocked and surprised. I was expecting to see more money in my account because normally five days after I complete a conversation on dneero.com, the money is in my account. Not quite the case yesterday! I did NOT obtain enough impressions. Not a big deal, more like a small problem. In order to be paid for completing dneero.com conversations, I need to complete the survey and share my results. Here's the catch, not only do I have to share my results, I need to accumulate impressions. I have 10 days to accumulate impressions on at least 5 of those days. ![]() My dneero.com impressions stats after five days Hmmmmm? What happened? Did I miss something? This has never happened to me before. At first, I thought maybe it was because I didn't take the time to post my dNeero.com results on a couple of social networking communities as well as on my blog. But then again, I don't always add my dneero.com conversations to my social networking communities and still managed to get the impressions I needed. I decided to go back to my blog and see what I did differently. It turns out, I opted to post the banner instead of the widget. My blog post 5 days ago The reason, I decided to go the banner route was because the widgets were taking so long to load up or not loading up at all. So, after I completed the conversation about credit unions and made a small post about it. I added the banner. It turns out, my decision didn't work out very well. So, I decided to go back and put the widgets on my blog post instead. I can't say for sure whether using the banners were the definite cause of not accumulating the impressions needed. What I can say for sure is, my impressions are happening now! Impression stats after switching to widgets instead of banners I'm not sure if any other dNeeroites out there have had a similar experience obtaining impressions on the surveys they have completed. I just think for now on, I am going to stick to using the widgets. No point, in spoiling a good thing! As always, dNeero.com has been one of my favorite free money making opportunities online. It doesn't require a lot of time and I have lots of fun. [...]
A Conversation About Movies Mon, 03 Nov 2008 18:14:00 +0000 Movies touch a cord in most of us ... drama, comedy, suspense, romance, sports, documentary ... you name it ... I answered the following questions and added one of my own just keep the conversation going! You can keep it going too! Just click join the conversation now and you're in.There were plenty of interesting questions about movies today. The one I had a little bit of trouble with was "What movie would I be?" Nothing came to my mind at first but after a little thought I managed to find an answer.

My Top Five Paid to Read Programs in the Marketing Pond Thu, 30 Oct 2008 15:24:00 +0000 There are twelve paid to read programs in the Marketing Pond. Originally, I was active in all of them but as time progressed I was deleted from a few for not logging in on a regular basis. It's one of the pitfalls of some paid to read programs. I personally don't like paid to reads set up like that. In my opinion if you should have the option of logging in when you feel like it. After all, I am being paid to read emails, it's not like I want to do it every day 24/7.Here are my top picks for the paid to read programs in the Marketing Pond. Hits4Pay pays on two levels. I earn money for every email I read plus I earn on every email anyone I refer reads. Even better, when the person I refer recruits someone into Hits4Pay and this person reads an email, I get paid too! Below is a image of my earnings for the last 3 days. It may not be a lot but each month my earnings increase because I am constantly promoting and referring new members. The more people I can get to actively read emails, the better my earnings will be. DealsnCash makes it easy to earn some extra cash visiting and viewing our advertiser's offers and by referring others to their website. It is owned and operated by the same company as Hits4Pay. Payout is a little higher at $30.00 and I don't have as many referrals or many emails to read on a daily basis. I could really use some sign-ups here. Hint! Hint! Of course that is if you have an interest in making some extra cash online for reading emails. It's free to join and you do receive a $5 sign up bonus. ClixSense has continued to have plenty of emails for me to read. I have seen some complaints from members who say they are not earning much because of limited emails. Upgrading your membership is a very wise investment. Some times when I log into ClixSense, the ads available to read are for premium members only. I log into a few times throughout the day if I remember. The ads come and go super fast! This happens because the member database is so huge and when new ads are purchased only so many people will have the option to read them. I opted for a higher payout of $20 instaed of the minimum of $10. I did this because ClixSense only pays by check. They also charge a $3.00 check fee. It just made more sense to be charged $3 on a $20 payment vs paying a $3 each on two $10 checks. ![]() LinkGrand doesn't really pay a lot for reading the emails ($0.003 per link) but I earn 30% of my referrals earnings and 10% on my referrals advertising purchases. It all adds up and they pay super fast too! There isn't an upgrade option, no fees to join and payout is at $5.00 via paypal. Nice program! <[...]
Two More Conversations from dNeero.com Thu, 30 Oct 2008 01:44:00 +0000 ![]() Today was a busy day for me at dNeero.com. I had the opportunity to partake in three conversation today. I posted my Presidential campaign results a few minutes ago. Now, I will be sharing the results of two more conversations with you. The first was about Starbucks' pick from iTunes. I had the opportunity to listen to a song entitled "Home in the Woods" by Cory Chisel. Not a fan of country or folksy music but I listened to the entire song, just to give an honest and fair opinion. The second dNeero conversation was about Credit Unions being CREDIT-able. According to Wikipedia "A credit union is a cooperative financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members, and operated for the purpose of promoting thrift, providing credit at reasonable rates, and providing other financial services to its members." I always assumed credit unions were for government employees. Today, I learned I was wrong. In fact I actually learned quite a few differences between credit unions and banks. With the collapse of some many banks lately, a credit union seems like a safe haven for me. My current balance for participating in dNeero conversations continues to build. I love participating in the dNeero conversations almost as much the money I earn for learning new things and sharing the results. Current Balance: $16.76 Pending: $1.96
The Presidential Conversation Continues on dNeero.com Thu, 30 Oct 2008 01:33:00 +0000 ![]() It's only a few more days until the President of the United States will be decided. I will be casting my vote for McCain some time over the weekend. I had planned on going today but the line was way too long for me. The conversation started by dNeero.com was based on the Chris Matthews Show. The panelists: -- Anne Kornblut is covering the campaigns for The Washington Post. -- Clarence Page is a columnist for the Chicago Tribune. -- Andrea Mitchell covers the race for NBC News. -- John Heilemann covers politics for New York Magazine, which has his latest story on the cover this week. Below are the answers to the questions I was asked in this survey. And one question I added to the mix. I am just tired of all the rumors, name calling and mud slinging. I guess after every thing is said and done I enjoy four years of arrogance!
Do You Backup the Files on Your Computer? Sun, 26 Oct 2008 16:59:00 +0000 Today not only did I have the opportunity to participate in another dNeero.com conversation, I was reminded to backup my files. There was a time when I didn't take the time to bother with backing up my files and I regret it. My belief was I was the manufacturer's restoration disk, so why bother backing up my files. I always felt anything I did have my computer wasn't such a big deal anyways. But, yes I did have something important. The most important thing I lost was photographs of my youngest daughter, Julie Sue. I did have a lot of files on CD because my oldest daughter Jen would take tons of pictures and we would burn a disk and take it somewhere to develop pictures, but not every photo on the disk, just my favorites. But then I got lazy and stopped going to develop pictures and would just email them to my friends and family. So lazy in fact, I didn't even put them on a disk. Now, there's pictures of my daughter which are gone forever. A good thing though, is my daughter burned some disks and I was able to get some of her photos back like these ones. Digital cameras are awesome but it's very important to burn them on a disk and not just upload them to your computer. Why backups are important? Things happen to your computer and the only way to protect yourself from losing information is to back up your files. It's better to be safe instead of sorry. My balance is very close to payout once again. Current Balance:$16.40 Pending: $0.63 Payout is at $20.00 via paypal. <[...]
Marketing Pond Update Thu, 23 Oct 2008 10:39:00 +0000 ![]() It's been awhile since I posted about the Marketing Pond affiliate program. On March 11, 2007 the Marketing Pond launched at approximately 8:00 pm central time zone. I joined the Marketing Pond shortly after the launch in mid April 2007 as member number 2986. One year later, the Marketing Pond has over 40,000 members. Every so often an update is posted in the news section. The latest one was posted on October 6, 2008 as follows: At over 47,000 members, MarketingPond still continues to grow on a daily basis. Out PTC 'BuddyPond', did not work out and will be discontinuing. However, next year, BuddyPond will relaunch as an entirely different type of program...more information on this, next year. In the mean time, we have our safelist and our traffic exchange to roll out this year. The safelist, only likes a few snippets of things to complete before it launches. The safelist was primarily held up by the time consumption of developing 'ViralPond' and more so the tedious work in BuddyPond. At over a year and half since MarketingPond has launched, we've really achieved a lot. We've weeded out some programs that were failures, we've launched some of our own programs, and most importantly, we've proven that anyone can make free money online. MarketingPond has always stressed the importance of joining the free to earn programs that either have or deemed for longevity. I think many here that have been members for a long time, now see first hand the reasons why longevity is important within any program opportunity. In the very near future, MarketingPond will be getting a new design...it is with hopes we can do the new design before the end of the year or first of next year. ![]() It has been a rocky ride at times. Programs were added then later deleted because they didn't perform well or just stop paying members. I would join a program and click away and all of a sudden I would log in and find the program gone. It was frustrating. Even so, it is comforting to know SOMEONE is watching my back. If you are using or ever tried to make money with paid to read programs, you know how annoying it is to put in the time and effort only to find out, you are NOT getting paid. As a member of the Marketing Pond, I have comfort in knowing I am one of close to 50,000 members who are using the exact same programs I am. If a program flops, we will all know about it and can save ourselves the anguish of being screwed over. The Marketing Pond consists of free money making programs with the exception of Freebie Force International. In the beginning, I actively joined and participated in ALL the programs. Things are a little different for me now. First, I don't want to spend all day clicking ads and second I don't like some of the programs at all. It really makes no difference which programs I join or participate in, the important thing is KNOWING what programs are legitimate and proven money makers.I strongly recommend the Marketing Pond[...]
Do You Watch the Chris Matthews Show? Tue, 21 Oct 2008 17:18:00 +0000 ![]() Normally, I do watch the Chris Matthews Show, but I missed it this past weekend. I had to take my daughter to work. I did read the transcript from the show this morning. Some of the comments had were very amusing. I especially loved the comment about Joe the Plumber holding more press conferences than Sarah Palin. Two weeks from today, I will be casting my vote for the next President of the United States.
My Results for the Fall TV 2008 Tue, 14 Oct 2008 13:07:00 +0000 The latest dneero.com conversation consisted of questions asked by dneero-ites (dneero members) about the Fall TV 2008 season. I can't say I watch a lot of television but I do enjoy watching a few shows every once in awhile. If the truth be known, my three old daughter is the boss of what we watch on tv. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time watching cartoons. When I do get dibs on the tv, I enjoy watching shows like CSI (all of them), House, Numbers, Without a Trace and Cold Case. One show I absolutely love to watch and rarely ever miss is SuperNatural. What's your opinion of the latest television shows airing this fall 2008? Are you happy or disappointed? Do you love or hate reality tv shows? Share your opinions on dneero.com.
More Input about the Presidential Election Tue, 14 Oct 2008 12:12:00 +0000 With the election only a few weeks away the conversations on dneero.com are heating up. Here are the results of my latest Presidential conversation. I found the question about the possibility of a civil war if Obama doesn't win after leading in the polls for so long very disturbing. Do you think that's really possible?According to the latest polls, Obama is leading the race against John McCain. I find it very interesting to see how each candidate is doing state by state. My current balance for completing dneero.com conversations is $14.88 with a pending balance of $1.08. It won't be too much longer before I reached my second payout of $20.00.
Questions about the Presidental Election Mon, 13 Oct 2008 14:37:00 +0000 ![]() A few days ago, I participated in a Dneero.com survey about the Presidential election in the United States. Another survey was avaialble to participate in today and the questions are pulled from the conversations by dNeero-ites (dneero members). One of my questions made the list. My question was based on how people choose their candidate. What's the most important to them? The candidate's looks, public speaking, track record, celebrity endorsement, news report or the promises being made? Here are some question that dNeero-ites asked in the previous conversation about election 2008. As with most conversations I take on dNeero.com, I can add a question to the mix. I wanted to know how often people vote and I'm not talking fraudulent voting. Some people I know avoid the local elections and only vote in the Presidential elections. Other people can't be bothered because they feel their vote doesn't count! Yes, it does.
Election 2008: Issues, issues everywhere ... Will They Help The World? Mon, 06 Oct 2008 12:03:00 +0000 ![]() The election of the next U.S. President is a few weeks away. U.S. voters are battling with many issues. Today Dneero is offering me the opportunity to talk about these issues in their latest conversation. I was asked to rate on a number of issues and how important they are to me. I was also given the opportunity to add my own question to the mix. I wanted to know how people made their decision? It should be interesting to see just how people make the decision. My answers to the Election 2008: Issues, issues everywhere ... Will They Help The World? If you missed any of the speeches at the 2008 Republican Convention, you can watch them here. Yes, the convention is over but I do enjoy watching Sarah Palin's speech over and over again. You will also find links to a number of other John McCain websites. ![]()
U.S. Presidential Politics ... OMG! Sat, 04 Oct 2008 20:27:00 +0000 ![]() It's down to the wire. Who is going to be the next president of the United States of America? Have you made your final decision? Who do you think is most qualified? Who are you voting for? Are you registered to vote? Questions and more questions about your choice for the next president of the United States of America? ![]() I was indecisive about my decision for quite some time. After Sarah Palin was added to John McCain's ticket, I was able to make my decision. I am still reading whatever I can about all the candidates probably until the day of the election. Right now, my vote is going to be for McCain and Palin but it's not set in stone. Voting for the next President of the United States is very important to me. I think all Americans should be registered to vote and they should definitely take the time to really know who they are voting for. There are plenty of sites on the internet to learn about WHO they are. I feel it's in everybody's best interest to do their homework and not base their decision on their favorite celebrity, news cast or other people's opinions. Their vote should be based on the person's track record. Take a few hours out of your time and Google your candidate.
My Favorite Fall TV Show
Sat, 04 Oct 2008 20:06:00 +0000 Most of the shows I watch are on the WB. I am one of the few people who aren't paying for cable of satelitte tv. I am the person who had to order the coupons for the analog to digital converter box. I would rather watch regular tv and spend a few dollars each month on NetFlix verses paying for a service I would hardly even use. I don't watch much tv so it works out well for me. Good for the home budget too!Anyways, today's dneero.com had another paid survey available about the Fall tv season. I was asked what my favorite show was and I had to say "SuperNatural". I absolutely love this television show even though I didn't know it existed until the middle of the third season. No worries, got my full share of season one and two, plus the third season via Netflix. SuperNatural is about two brothers Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester who travel across the country in a black 1967 Chevy Impala. They investigate and combat paranormal events and other unexplained occurrences, many of them based on American urban legends and folklore, as well as classic supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, and ghosts. What I love most besides the supernatural aspect of the show is the chemistry between the brothers. There's love and hate, sibling rivalry, the practical jokes, the humor and oh yeah, I think they are handsome. ![]() WHat are you watching on tv? Do you have a favorite show this fall? Below is the results of my opinion and favorite shows this fall. You are more than welcome to join the conversation.

Thu, 18 Sep 2008 16:29:00 +0000 What has been your favorite movie released this summer? I only saw two movies in the theaters because I prefewr waiting for movies to be released on dvd and renting them from NetFlix.I don't like the price of the movie ticket or the noise. Plus I can't adjust the volume or put the movie on pause, rewind, etc.... I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old. LOL
Are Healthy Foods too Expensive?
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 22:34:00 +0000 ![]() Obesity in America is a growing trend. More and more Americans are becoming over weight every year. Blame it on fast food, junk food or lack of exercise. I believe it's a combination of them all. Today's dNeero.com conversation was about the price of healthy foods in comparison to junk foods, eating habits and my opinion of why healthy food is so expensive. I love junk food! I don't eat a lot of it but still probably eat more junk food than I should. I do try to eat as many fresh vegetables and fruits as I can each day but I definitely have noticed the steady incline of prices every time I shop for fresh fruits and vegetables. Luckily for me a new farmer's market opened up down the street and it has saved me from the high prices at the super market. The bag of apples I normally buy went from $3 and change to almost $6 in just a few months. Ouch! It's amazing because just a few feet away was this week's special of Lays chips. Buy one and get one free! HAHAHAHA Okay, Shoot me, I left the apples and bought the chips. There goes my healthy eating habits. Not that I would eat the entire two bags of chips by myself. I have 7 other people in my house to share with. In actuality, I am lucky if I even see a chip. I am planning a trip to the farmers market to get some healthy food. I love my fresh strawberries, bananas and apples but I can't afford super market prices. I remember bananas being 29 cents a pound and now they are currently 69 cents a pound. Here are the results of my dNeero.com social conversation about healthy foods. please feel free to add your opinion too! My family doesn't eat a lot of junk and we don't eat out much. It's much healthier and more affordable for me to cook my meals at home. I do buy some junk food but once it's gone it's gone. I don't believe my eating habits are as healthy as they should be but I don't feel I am eating extremely unhealthy either. What's your eating habits? Helathy or not so healthy? Or are you like me, the middle of the road?
More About Visual Talking
Thu, 28 Aug 2008 20:51:00 +0000 Not too long ago I participated in a dNeero.com survey about Visual Talking. It gives users the ability to express themselves through images instead of text. I signed up and sent one visual message last time. This time I created a visual talk message of the day!As I mentioned previously the library of images are very limited. Today, I took a few moments to upload my own images. Unfortunately I can't share my visual talk images in this post right now because they have to be approved by the administrator first. Oh well, hopefully the approval process is speedy! ![]() "What the heck are you saying?" Ever heard that before? Maybe Visual Talking can help. It's like the Twitter of PowerPoint presentations. Combine words and pictures to communicate -- it's that simple. In your user question please consider asking something about a current event and how/if VT would apply, e.g., "Should the Olympic athletes use VT to help communicate?" or "Now that Britney has her bod back, should we send her VT messages to get her to quit smoking?" or "Should Homeland security include VT as part of their interagency communications package?" Here are my results for the latest dNeero.com about visual talking. I'm hoping the image library will become massive as more people sign up and begin participating. I think it would be neat to send images back and forth instead of text all the time. As of today I have a balance of $8.62 in my dNeero.com account and no pending balance. Well, until today. This survey will be pending until I have acquired impressions for a minimum of five days out of 10. If you think you would like to participate in dNeero survey conversations, just click the banner below. Membership is completely free and the surveys are a ton of fun. Yes, I have been paid!
Do you buy or pay for ...? Mon, 18 Aug 2008 15:29:00 +0000 Another quick survey offered to me by dNeero.com. The survey today was relating to services people pay for. I only pay for a few services on the list. What are you paying for?It has been five days since my last surveys were completed and $3.25 was added to my balance. I am a few pennies shy of $8.00 in my account. Once, this survey has received impressions I will earn approximately 25 cents. Click Here for Answers |
