I do feel older, but I won't miss Letterman. I wish him well, of course. I just never thought he was especially funny.

Don't forget the girl he used to obsess about in the building next to the first set. I forget her name. That ended when the show moved to the Ed Sullivan site.

I'm sad to see Letterman go only because he is the last of an era. I will miss him, a little. I was always a fan and followed him to CBS, always feeling he deserved The Tonight Show over Leno. But, Letterman became a little too political for me. His personal political views were showing a little too much for a comedy based talk show and rolling over into his show. I jumped over to Leno and was not sorry about the switch. Dave will be missed, but like those who went before him, including Carson, he will be but a memory in a short time. It was a job for him, an escape for us and time keeps moving forward. All that being said, the new crop of late night guys can't hold candle to Carson, Letterman, Leno, etc. It's a new world. Thank God for cable.

Just wanted to clarify that I mean the original theme where Robert Wagner says "Let me get this straight, you want me to steal?" I realized after posting above that there is more than 1 version on youtube.
