Babes and Butterflies in Odessa

Fri, 19 Jul 2013 14:07:00 +0000

(image) Many little girls adore horses and butterflies, an infatuation that lasts long into adulthood. Last month, Ukrainian women had the chance to visit the “Day of Horses” at the Odessa Zoo and the annual exotic butterfly exhibit at Odessa’s Your Garden store.

Held in conjunction with International Children’s Day on June 1, the exhibit features 15 species of exotic butterflies from around the world. Here visitors can view butterflies in all stages of life, from cocoons and first flights to the last flutter of the creatures’ wings. If guests are lucky, a butterfly will land on their arm or clothing just long enough to appear in a photo before fluttering off. Visitors who are particularly enamored with the butterflies can purchase a cocoon to take home.

The specialists of Your Garden take great care to provide a welcoming environment for both butterflies and guests by adorning their greenhouse with lush flowers and tropical vegetation. The annual exhibit is a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon.

An ancient Oriental legend claims that if butterflies surround you, happiness will soon follow. We believe the same is true of Russian and Ukrainian women. Join HotRussianBrides.com to chat and flirt with beautiful women today!

Ukrainian Women Celebrate “Day of Horses” at Odessa Zoo

Thu, 18 Jul 2013 16:29:00 +0000

(image) Summer is a great time to head outdoors, be it a trip to the beach, a stroll in the park, or a visit to the local zoo. The recent “Day of Horses” at the Odessa Zoo gave horse-loving women the chance to celebrate their favorite animals in a fun and festive way.

Held on June 20, the Western-themed Day of Horses featured cowboys, Indians, and the animal central to both groups’ ways of life: horses! Guests also had the chance to audition for a zoo-sponsored film about the friendship between horses and men. Other festivities included horsed-themed games and quizzes with winners receiving sweet prizes.

However, the Day of Horses wasn’t just about animals. A few cyclists from Odessa also appeared at the festival to educate guests about the history of the “iron horse” and offer rides to children with an interest in biking.

Horses have played a pivotal role throughout human history, assisting with everything from war and agriculture to sports and transportation. The animals also appear in legends and fairy tales around the world.

Several equids call the Odessa Zoo home, including five endangered Przewalskis, three donkeys, two zebras, and six ponies. If you’re ever in Odessa visiting a special woman, consider a visit to the city zoo.

Fun Date Idea: Take Kyiv Girls Go-Karting!

Tue, 16 Jul 2013 18:58:00 +0000

(image)

Sitting centimeters from the track while twisting and turning along the course gets go-kart racers’ hearts pumping. It’s fast, exciting and sure to be a fun date with your favorite Russian bride.

Did you know that Kyiv is home to several indoor and outdoor go-kart tracks? Here are some of the best, as recommended by What’s On Kiev.

Zhazhda Skorosti (Need for Speed) (Hlushkova 9, M Hippodrome)

Near Ice Stadium and the recently opened Hippodrome metro station, this open air track has 12 different driving routes and nine horsepower karts.

Blockbuster Karting Centre (Moskovskiy 34b, M Petrivka)

Blockbuster also offers nine horsepower karts but treats racers to two tracks, one indoor and one outdoor. Feel the G-forces as you fly across the tarmac!

Hydropark Karting (M Hydropark)

Perfect for beginners, Hydropark is an easier track with a cheaper cost. The karts have 6.5 horsepower and the outdoor track is shaded by trees so you won’t get overheated.

Terminal Karting Centre (Kyivska 316, Terminal Mall, M Lisova)

Racing can go down year round at this indoor track which also has 6.5 horsepower karts. There are two tracks with high speed sections, bridges, steep slopes and sharp turns.

Forza Karting (Naberezhno-Luhova 23, M Tarasa Shevchenko)

With a narrow indoor track and multiple levels, Forza Karting is a true test of driving skills. Tournaments and championships are often held here and kids karting classes are also available.

Chaika Karting (Chaika Stadium)

Chaika Karting offers a wider outdoor track with three horsepower choices – Nine and 13 horsepower karts for adults and 4.5 horsepower karts for kids.

Ask your favorite Kiev girls if they’ve ever gone go-kart racing and consider checking out one of these tracks during your next vacation!

With an abundance of alcohol and attractive Ukrainian women, the country’s first Penthouse Club is sure to be a success.

Located inside a 100,000sq.ft. Italian villa-style entertainment complex in Kharkov, the Penthouse Club will be surrounded by a variety of restaurants and other attractions, including the first Penthouse-branded beach club location in the world.

"The owners wanted to bring something different to the market – a different kind of club, a different attitude and a different sense of hospitality and attention to detail. There are a number of hotels and restaurants that offer this, but not in nightlife and entertainment. I believe we can do that," says General Manager Maxime van Marle.

With themed nights like Beer Boom, Mexico Party, Double Temptation, Erotic Hookah Night, and Miami Beach Night, there is always something different going on at the Penthouse Club.

All You Can Eat Meat at PivBar

Fri, 21 Jun 2013 19:53:00 +0000

(image)

Churrasco is the Spanish term for grilled beef or meat so some call PivBar a steakhouse; an all-you-can-eat steakhouse! Every 15 minutes, more meat is delivered to your table for one flat fee.

While it’s also referred to as the beer and beef bar, other meats like chicken, pork, veal and lamb are on the menu, along with spicy pineapple, mackerel, pickles and bread.

Located near the Monument to Kyiv’s Founders on Maiden Nezalezhnosti, PivBar boasts an industrial décor. Before you dive into the meat dishes, decide on a beer. Each week, a secret beer is available that’s not on the menu so be sure to ask the server.

You can also enjoy your brew in a large Mason jar with a salted fish for a sidecar.

If you’re not a beer drinker, try the homemade lemonade or apple cider.

Then, if you want the full experience, go with the Churrasco XXL meal, comprising of 11 meats and vegetables. You start with an appetizer plate covered with bread, salads, olives, potatoes, pickles, and various sauces. Then, long skewers pierced into different meats begin arriving on your table every 15 minutes.

The spicy pineapple is saved for last. Hot off the grill, it’s seasoned with 12 spices and PivBar may be the only place that serves this uniquely delicious dessert.

With a DJ on Fridays and live bands on Saturdays, consider taking your favorite Ukrainian girl during your next trip to Kyiv!

Dinner in the Sky Comes to Kyiv

Fri, 21 Jun 2013 17:37:00 +0000

(image)

While Kyiv is known for its sky high restaurants, thrill seekers can now discover aerial dining in a whole new way. Dinner in the Sky straps 22 guests on to a platform which raises 180 feet (50 meters) above the ground.

The attraction began in Belgium in 2007 and has since expanded to 44 countries. Earlier this week, Ukrainian celebrities were invited to experience its first launch in Kyiv near Golosiivskiy Park.

"We chose this location because it’s important to bring the platform somewhere near parks to have the best view. Well, I’m happy that we finally did it – it took more than a year for us to make Ukrainian skies open for this. Ukrainians are very conservative, and they didn’t catch the idea at once," said Alyona Zhebrovskaya, head of WinWinGroup.

A huge crane lifts the platform up into the air. Drinks are served by two waiters while a single chef starts preparing meals. Make sure to use the restroom first as the flying restaurant doesn’t come equipped with one.

The company also provides additional events on the platform such as Marriage in the Sky, Lounge in the Sky, and Showbizz in the Sky. They’ve even done casinos, concerts, corporate meetings, and press conferences.

Are you afraid of heights? Would you consider treating your favorite Russian bride to a romantic dinner in the sky?

Here are some photos from the fun new feature’s premiere!

Dine, Dance, and Duet at Dali Park

Mon, 03 Jun 2013 19:16:00 +0000

If dinner and dancing is your idea of a fun date with your favorite Ukrainian girl, consider the newly opened Dali Park in Kyiv. The multifaceted entertainment complex features a nightclub and restaurant complete with karaoke.   The large, open terrace will surely become the most popular dining area with tables placed around a beautiful fountain and a large white canopy shielding guests from sun rays or rain drops.   The menu is huge, listing dozens of hot and cold appetizers, salads, and soups before even getting to the main courses. Those consist of separate sections for fish, poultry, meat and pasta dishes. Plus, there are additional pages exclusively for barbeque meals and Ukrainian staples such as salo and borscht.   "Thanks to the marine aquarium I have the opportunity to offer guests the freshest seafood every day," says the restaurant’s chef, Rags Artem. "You can cook them in any desired form, as well as complement our homemade sauces. In addition, we specifically order the meat and poultry at the Ukrainian farmers who independently pickle according to traditional recipes."   After you’ve enjoyed dinner and karaoke in the restaurant, head next door to the nightclub. While the restaurant is open every day, the nightclub only welcomes guests Thursday through Sunday.   Some of the best DJs from around the world are already scheduled to perform at Dali Park this summer.   Take a peek inside with these photos and watch the fun grand opening video from last month below! With all the gorgeous girls pictured here, you may decide to visit Dali Park solo and make some new friends!     width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/49xQbc0JJCc?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>   Source, Photos: dali-park.com[...]

Booty and Beauty at Black Sea Pirates Museum

Fri, 10 May 2013 17:08:00 +0000

(image)

If you like museums, you’ll love Ukraine. New collections of history and culture are being organized and unveiled all the time.

On May 1st, the Crimean city of Yevpatoria opened its 16th museum – the Black Sea Pirates Museum!

The extensive collection of over 600 artifacts includes weapons, utensils, coins, jewelry, pieces of sunken ships, sailors’ personal belongings, and more.

One room is decorated with gold and treasure while another depicts a sailor’s cabin. Visitors learn about the lifestyle of Black Sea pirates on land and at sea, as well as the customs and laws they live by.

A beautiful lady pirate commands another room which features a photo opportunity behind the wheel of the ship. Many of the items on display were found on shore after a storm seven years ago by Serhiy Savinov and he has been collecting ever since.

While the items do tell stories of Black Sea exploration, marine traffic and trade, and even the process of ship production, Serhiy says the museum focuses more on entertaining visitors rather than giving them an in depth history lesson.

Take a peek at these pics and consider visiting with your favorite Russian bride during your next vacation.
