Easy Video Player Review

2010-05-19T05:49:33.055-07:00

Ok. This was the last software I tested.

I have to point out though... I had stop searching for software that would quickly and easily add video to my websites. Up until this point I was happy with the software I was using (you can read about it in my previous post). Then I received an email from a friend telling me to check out Easy Video Player.

I quickly discovered after reading the description page that this software offered a lot more features that was great for online marketers; Josh Bartlett the creator claimed it was designed to increased your traffic... boost your sales and build your list fast, so I decided to give it ago.

Most of the features were nothing new... like the choice of different video players the ability to auto redirect the user to a different page when the video ends, adding logos and so on.

But what set this software aside from the others was it had the ability to do really cool things right in the video itself like: embedding opt in forms in the video and call to action buttons that would say things like "click here for more info" or whatever you choose.

But the best part for me about Easy Video Player... And your going to love this!... Wait for it!... You can actually embed Paypal buy now buttons right in your videos! can you see how powerful this is!

It also works with Amazon s3 to host your videos which was great for me because I use a lot of videos and if you have tried to host your own videos, you will know that they use a lot of bandwidth which cause all sorts of problems with normal hosting. Amazon s3 solves this problem with high tech hosting that is dirt cheap and I do mean dirt cheap, I'm talking pennies per GB used.

I thought the price wasn't bad either. You pay a one time payment of $127 for lifetime access to the software that has full training videos plus you get 24/7 support, and to top it all of as a bonus you get one month free access to IM Mastermind Club. This is a membership site that offers tons of quality content to grow you online business that would normally cost you $37 per month.

My verdict on this one:

Price - 5/5 Stars
Quality - 5/5 Stars
Effectiveness - 5/5 Stars
Ease of Use - 4/5 Stars (since I had to do a small amount of work to initially set it up)
Support - 5/5 Stars

If you're serious about using video in your online business, to better engage with your customers I highly recommend you get started with Easy Video Player today!

Easy Web Video Review

2010-05-19T03:11:59.310-07:00

Ok. This was the second piece of software I tried out.

When I first saw Easy Web Video my first reaction was... WOW! this program is amazing.

Just like before they also claimed that this software offered a quick and easy solution to adding video to a website... To demonstrate that point the owner Shawn Pringle uses his 7 year old daughter in a demo video to show us just how easy it is to use... I was blown away!

So I downloaded the software because it was free! yes you did hear right the software is free to download.

When I first downloaded Easy Web Video I couldn't believe how simple and user friendly it looked and felt. You simply click a button to select your source video, choose the output size you want the video to be, then click another button to create web video. The software then goes and convert your video file into flash format the best format for web video.

Then you get to play around with the settings where you can choose different players, change the colors, have the video auto start, have it redirect the user when the video ends, even have buttons embed into the video.

You can also add a logo and labels, but my favorite feature was the capability to be able to put an email form right into the video itself. How cool is that?

Your next step is to then publish your video and this is the part that made me cringe... As soon as I hit the publish button I was presented with a new window selling me video hosting. OUCH!

First I thought how sneaky and was about to close the window. But I loved the software so much I thought I would first read the details, Unlimited video hosting... Unlimited video views... Lifetime product upgrades and a really easy to use software even for me! all for only $9.95/month, not bad.

So I decided to give it ago and I'm pleased with my decision. As soon as I signed up I was given a small piece of code to put on my web page where ever I wanted my video to play.

My verdict on this one:

Price - 5/5 Stars
Quality -4/5 Stars
Effectiveness - 4/5 Stars
Ease of Use - 5/5 Stars
Support - 5/5 Stars

Video Web Wizard 2.0 Review

2010-05-18T13:33:47.891-07:00

Ok. This was the first piece of software I tried.

It claimed to offer a fast and easy solution to putting video on a website without being very technical minded. It also bragged about it's customizable video web page templates that were included.

I snapped it up immediately... This sounded like the solution I was looking for.

I bought the Video Web Wizard 2.0 Software for the one time payment of $67.00... A bargain to say the least.

I was able to download the software immediately after my payment was made. I was happy about that because I couldn't wait to get started.

It came with a 20 page manual that showed you how to install it and use all the features; which was all really easy and simple to do.

I did like the way that it offer you the option to choose your own video settings or select some of the pre-setting's available to you... Plus you can brand your videos, have a picture shown before the video is played and have the option to have the video redirect to another web page when it ends.

However when the software has done it's part your left with some files including the video file which is a flash file to upload to your server, which is really easy to do and everything is clearly explained. The downside is that videos take up a lot of bandwidth and depending on what type of hosting account you have this could get really expensive if you're expecting to get a lot of traffic.

My verdict on this one:

Price - 5/5 Stars
Quality - 4/5 Stars
Effectiveness - 4/5 Stars
Ease of Use - 4/5 Stars (because I had to host my own videos)
Support - 3/5 Stars (they don't offer a telephone #)

Welcome To My Blog!

2010-05-18T03:55:27.444-07:00

Hi! My name is Darrell

I've been marketing online for about 3 years now and just in the last year I started using video in my membership sites...

During the first 6 months I tried many different ways of adding video to my websites but nothing worked the way I wanted it to (quick and easy). Its was so hard to find a simple easy to use method I could use without getting to technical to put videos on my sites when ever I needed to.

After 6 months of trying different methods of adding video to website I finally found a program that made the whole process of adding and streaming video on website quick and easy. But it was far from easy. Believe me.

It took over 6 months of testing and more than $1,000, but I finally found a quick and easy method to put video on my websites.

Like I said I tried many different methods and wasted a ton of money trying to figure it all out, at one point I was close to throwing in the towel. Then just like that I came across 3 programs that all shone in their own right, but 1 shone the most.

I rated all 3 for you on the following criteria:

Price

Quality

Effectiveness

Ease of Use

Support

I hope you will get something from these reviews and not make the same mistakes i did, but instead get the results your looking for fast.
