Prima is my all time high when it comes to AMAZING flowers, bling, paper and stamps...and once again they have created a fantastic range of products. It's impossible to not LOVE Prima.

I'm so lucky that I allready have had the chance to play with these products
Here are two of my layouts.
On this I've used several of Primas new clear stamps. I've stamped on bazzill and the cut them out. The oval one I've cut out the hole pattern. I've put glue all over it and then scattered the glitter on. Finally, I put on a few bling.
I just love the Baroque style it has.

The Prima flowers this season is to die for, especially the roses

Happy New Year

I want to wish you all a happy new year and at the same time get to thank you so much for visiting my blog in 2009. Every single comment that you all have written is highly valued and appreciated. Not least, it helps to motivate and inspire me to do much more of this. So THANKS to you all.

To day I have a little
Look here
I'm super exited and honored to be chosen

Have a nice weekend everyone

Another year has gone.....

Another year has passed, and a new year is coming with all its possibilities. Now I'm looking back on the year thats almost at it's end, and not at least I'm putting down some goals for the new year. I know this sounds a bit like a cliché, and I also know that less than one out of five are able to achieve their goals. I hope I will be one of the 20% who actually can do this successfully. Before I start on my targets for 2010 I see that the main goal of my life for the next year is Clean-up and Change .... Without a proper "clean-up" both physically and in my activities, there will be no change.I feel like I constantly have a bad conscience for everything and everyone, and it eats up all my energy. Much has happened this year, both ups and downs without me going further into that here. The most important things in my life are my family, my job and actually scrapbooking - because through this activity I'm able to preserve our memories and my family's history, and that is very valuable for me1.I need to lose weight .... heard it before ??????? Yes I know it's goal No. 1 among almost EVERYONEBut perhaps it's not just in my closet that the clothes are shrinking. I need to feel better about my self and my looks.I must also begin to take care of my skin ... there are some tiny, tiny lines around my eyes ...they say it's my age?????!!!???Therefore ....- 100 days without Coke- Eat healthy- Use day and night cream...and maybe more...2.I'll be better to update my blog and my aim has to be realistic. Christmas came so fast that I failed to update with more of my Christmas designs .. so here are some pictures of some of the things I made for Prima in December.Christmas tree decorations ... and yes they hang on my Christmas tree ...this year with ornaments in glass, white and silver.Christmas decorations elsewhere in the house is in red, glass and white and with a little vintage feel. As this cone ... I love decorating with red flowers for Christmas, like Amaryllis......and yes I know I'm very late in showing these pictureson my blog ... they should have been here at least 3 weeks ago ... Sorry!!!!!My goal for my blog is therefore- A new post at least once every week ... bonus if I can do two3.I must remember to write down all the amazing things my children say and do .... otherwise I just forget them. This layout that I made for Prima is an example of just that. My daughter Live often points out that her stomach says both this and that..... she has a "gut feeling" for everything.A day early in December on our way to kindergarten she said as she pointed to the sky. "Mom, there lives Jesus and all the stars ...... pause .... and agent Ozo".And this morning she came into my bed and said .... "God has given me many new kisses that I can share, and I'll give them to Daddy". She is just the world's cutest little girlTherefore:.... I'll get myself a little notebook that I can write things down before I go to bed for the night4.I will be a positive and encouraging personIt means that I will be better to show that I appreciate those around me, both family and friends. This layout that I made for Primas BAP in December is an example of thisLovely, lovely Sharon deserves a layout and I've made this as a gift to her. She is just an incredible person who encourages and inspires me and the other girls on Prima's design team. Although I never met her IRL, she has become a person that matters in my life.5the last goal in this round .... CLEAN UPIt seriously needed to be cleaned up all over the house. Clutter and crowded cabinets steals my energy, I need systems and procedures to work properly..... therefor:- Clean up and sort my craft room- Clean up and sort in cabinets and drawers in the kitchen- sort in closets, especially the children'sThe rest of the house will hopefully be done after thisWhen I now see on my list it is both long, imperfect (yes I could put up quite a bit) and possible to do .... LOL ...Consolation is that I do not think I'm alone in creating [...]

Christmas time is here

This is defenetly my favorite time of year. I LOVE Christmas, even if it's busy busy busy, filled up wiht lots of fun and joyfull things.

We have started December with a sick boy on the couch, and tomorrow it's my turn to be home from work taking care of him. Maybe we get the chance to do some Christmas activities together....thats one good thing with being home from work.
With sick children, it's not easy to get done all that I had planned to do, but I have managed to do a little Christmas shopping yesterday evening, and today after work......I'm actually almost done, only the most important left.

Please stop by Primas blog this week for some fun Christmas inspiration from det girls in the design team.
Here is one of my projects for Prima this week
I've used some pictures from last years Christmas tree decorating.
some of the products I've used is Holiday Lights ornaments and a Baroque Blooms flower.

Finally I have the winner of my Christmas gift.
Thanks to all for visiting me and for your nice words. I'm sooooo honored, and I hope that you will stop by some other time as well.

One friend (that I don't meet very often) is Carrin, and she is one of a kind.

"While we are waiting for Christmas"

"While we are waiting", a little book for Advent and Christmas. This is the book that I teached at Papirfest. There were 35 participants and it was the first time I teached for so many at once..... and it went surprisingly . Sponsor to this clas was Papirdesign, Kort&Godt and Fretex.I've used the covers and some of the pages from an old book, paper from Papirdesigns beautiful Christmas collection, and embellishment such as laces and roses from Kort&Godt. Here are the pages from the book.To get the tags looking old I have used really strong coffe. Put them in for just a few seconds and let them dry. Do it over again if you want a darker color.I have various activities and subjects that are my family's Christmas tradition as headings in the book. Christmas cards, wish lists for christmas, The St.Lucia celebration, Decorating our Christmas tree , Christmas eve etc, etc. .. there should be room to put in pictures and writeups from what one might desire. I hope that this will be a good memory to look back on later in life, not only for my family, but also for all those who made this book in my clas. Here I have made a little pocket to put in some of my tresured Christmas recipesSome of my favorite Christmas carolsTFL[...]

God Jul

This is my Christmas layout that I teached a class with at Papirfest almost two weeks ago.
It was sponsored by Papirdesign and Kort&Godt with beautiful paper and embellishment.
Thanks to all that attended this class, it was really fun doing this with you all.
To get started on this layout I used a fantastic sketch from Pencil Lines. I just love the circles on this sketch.

And here are some detailed pictures of it.

A Class For A Cause

One can't do everything, but everone can do something and my Prima dt-sister Iris, who lives in The Philippines are doing her little thing to help others, and you can join her....and as a bonus you will be able to participate in an online clas with the TALENTED Iris.

This is what Iris said:
You must have heard about the storm that has ravaged several asian countries. It was the worst tropical depression. Worse even than Huricane Katrina. Our country, The Philippines was not spared. Hundreds were killed and thousands are left homeless. After a week, several cities are still knee deep or even higher in water. Families are cramped in evacuation centers and there is so much help needed.

She is offering an on-line class on her blog in which all proceeds will go to the victims of the storm. It's only $5 and it's a layout on fabric and it's filled with LOTS OF PRIMA FLOWERS! Thanks for your support.

I'm a bad blogger

Yes I know, I've been a really bad blogger lately. But as you all would have said in my position life is just so busy and then my blog is last on the to-do-list.There's a lot happning with both "this" and "that" and I hope that I soon can show and tell you some more. Some of what I've been working on lately are the projects that I will teach at the Papirfest, and that happens in less than two weeks from now. I'm really nervous about this, but happy with what I have prepared and created. I have used paper from the latest christmas collection from Papirdesign and embellishement from Kort&Godt - two Norwegian scrapbooking manufacturers.I have also worked on a guest design project for a website I have dreamed for a long time to guest designing for. I feel so honored that they have asked me .... just wait and see.Since I've had so much time of from my blog, there are several of my layouts I have not shown you, like some of my Prima layouts. These two layouts I made for Prima for Cha - summer 09One more layout where I have used the flocked leaves and my paper scraps.I have lined up a row of paper strips and then i stitched through them to keep them in place. It's colorful and really fun....and you do get rid of a lot of you paper scrapsI have putted on some Prima hydrangeas, and handstitched the stems.....and here I have cutted up a hole sheet of that flocked leaf paper to creat this tree. But you could also use a leaf punch and your paper scrap to make the end I finshed it of with flowers around the tree.....Thanks for taking time to visit my blog and read this long post.Tomorow is a new day with a lot of oportunities - I pray that I will be able to see mine.[...]

animal bash is fun fun fun

This is another one of my CHA layouts using BRAND NEW Prima products
On this layout I have used papers from the cute paper line "Animal Bash" Just love that playful cuteness of these papers. And don't you just love those stitched animals, they are one of my favorites along with the Raja centers.

The talented Flowergirl Anam just makes the most gorgeous sketches for Primas Build-A-Page.
And here is my solution for the sketch.
I have used some of my paper scraps, beautiful Prima flowers, the brand new pearl centers and a butterflie.

I didn't know that I love purple

I have been to alot of weddings this summer...or two actually. There may be people that have been to more than me this

Here is one more layout made for Prima for CHA.
I just adore the new flowers, and that pearl swirl is soooooo beautiful... And that BIRD...OMG I have no word to describe that
One more thing about this layout....I realized that I actually like the color purple, if someone told me that 6 months ago......I wouldn't belive them. But these paper is just to die for....and the colors on them is so beautiful.

2009-08-18T00:14:52.750+02:00's back to schoole for my ds, and a "new year" has started for Live in her kindergarden and at my work as well. Sadly the summer has come to an end, but it is good to be "starting" something many ways.
My dd and ds has grown ALOT this past few months...Marius is loosing his the teeths and he has matured pretty much. Live is a three year old that knows what she wants, and she can drive her parents crazy at times. She has also grown almost 4 cm in 2 months. No wonder her wardrobe has to be renewed regularly ... lol ..

...I'm finished with a BIG project....that I unfortunatly I can't show you anything of...yet...

....and finally I can show you one of the Prima layouts that I made for CHA.
I have used the new flowers, embellishement and paper from Prima, and those roses are beautiful, awsome and magnificent. I can not wait to play more with these delights that Prima launched at CHA.

The picture is of my brother-in-law and his beautiful bride/wife on their weddingday in June.

Sadly they just got some few years togheter since my father died in 1977.I have used Life in Colors die-cut paper and a felt gate to set the backdrop, I have added tucks of stitched rose paper (cut-out), Prima laces, roses and mini-pebbles! The next layout I made some months ago. It was made for a class I had at my LSS Scrappejungelen in April. I have mostly used Primaproducts, just to highlight the shabby chic style with som old book sheets, tulle, feathers and an old tag.The title I just love. It is from Psalme 91 and it gives me a strong feeling that my family and I is being taken care of. It gives me confidence for tomorrow. TFL[...]

Wedding cards (Prima)

In these times of weddings in my family I've used the opportunity to design some wedding cards for Prima with their wonderful products.

Here is a vintage, romantic looking card with a layered Prima flower, Center Gems, Stitched Paper cut-outs and a lovely Prima ribbon. I've used tulle to tie the card together and feathers to get a VINTAGE finish on it.

Here is an envelope card (or gift holder)made with flirty papers, a pink Say It In Pearls swirl, a
Fluttering Butterfly, some beautiful Prima laces and tiny little Prima roses (I just totally love you tell???)...and tulle to again to tie the card together.
And here is some detaild photoes

One more envelope card, this time made with Prima products bought at Michaels. I just love those flowers...

My latest design for Scrappejungelen (LSS)

I have used paper from October Afternoon, I just love those papers.
The first one is about the Stavanger Gospel Companys cd recording last year. It was busy but really fun.

(image) (image)

This one is about my daughter and a friend looking at some birds.

Vintage clas at my lss

Wednesday, I held a clas at Scrappejungelen (my lss) where the participants made a layout in Vintage style .
It is made with paper from Basic Gray's Porcelain collection. There is also a lot of products from Prima and Kort & Godt. Vintage details like german scraps, coffee-colored tags, a sheet from an old book, feathers and tulle helps to emphasize the vintage style.

Scared and happy...?????

Go visit Scrappehuset and read ... if you can read Norwegian (or translate it).... I have been given the opportunity to contribute with an article about the scrapbooking style; VINTAGE. The article can be found here

It has been very challenging to write this article. I have spent much time figuring out what my thoughts about vintage style is, so this has been very clarifying for me.
But that said, this is my thoughts and you might think otherwise. In scrapbooking you can do what ever you like, and it is all allowed..... and thank God for that.
I hope you like the article.

Today, I need some positive thoughts. I'm facing something that is completely new and unknown ... and quite frightening.
I do not know quite how to handle this, and I'm scared and looking forward to this at the same time .... if that is possible to do when I don't know what's out there for me.
