Mad4Plaid Christmas Mini Album

Hiya! Seriously, I think 2017 was the fastest on record. I mean really, where did the year go? Today's post is about a mini album gift for my mom. Most of her children live hundreds of miles from where she lives so she doesn't get to see us very often. So every few years I send out a request for pictures from my siblings, nieces, nephews, etc. I'm still gathering, but in the mean time here is

Photoplay Halloween with Matilda & Godfrey Mini Album

Hiya! I've been working on multiple projects over the last few weeks, some digital and others paper based. I've been jumping back and forth in an effort to get them all done. Well, my Halloween project got finished first. And I LOVE it!!! I can't wait to fill it up with pictures. This is my first completed folio. I have to say, I really like this size project. Big enough to feel the

Beach House Mini Album - continued

Hiya! Sorry for the delay. It's been a busy several days. I always think life will slow a bit once school is back in session. Yet, that isn't always the case. In any case, I was finally able to upload and edit the still photos I took of the Beach House album.  {Attention: Picture heavy post!} Enoy! Thanks for stopping by

Beach House Mini Album

Hiya! A friend of mine just became a Grandma!!  Her oldest daughter just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I'm so excited for her. I was invited to the baby shower but was out of town when it happened. But, that ended up being a good thing. I was able to use that extra time when I got back to make her an album. YouTube Link She had asked for books as part of her gift so she could

St. Patrick's Treat with Video Tutorial

Hiya, It's been a while. The holidays were busy. Then the FLU hit our house in a big way. (Meaning...we all got hit, but I got hit the hardest. Sick for days. bleh...) So glad that's over. And then I decided maybe I ought to try something new on my blog. I got some equipment, some software, and over the course of several days, found some time. Then, I filmed a quick tutorial. Filming was the

Another Christmas Delivery

Hiya, Two days in a row, folks! I'm even surprising myself. But my brain was spinning over this cute FREEBIE Ttruck graphic from So, I had to create something else. A Truck-Shaped Gift Card holder. (Affiliate links used where available.) Totally works, right? When I first saw the print out I thought for sure I had reeeeealy over sized it, but nope. Not at all. I've

Christmas Delivery Card

Hiya! It's been a while since my last post. Not that I haven't been creating. I have! I just haven't taken the time to create a blog post about my creations. Typically I just post on Instagram (see feed above). It's fast. Easy. And if anyone has any questions they can just shoot me a questions via the Instagram feed. Well, today I have reason to post beyond just a single snapshot. Today I'm

For Their First Trip to Visit the Mouse

Hiya! Some friends of mine that live just down the street from me took their family on a trip to Disneyland, or as my husband refers to it "visiting the mouse." 🐭 To celebrate this event, I made them a fun little photo book to put some of their pictures in. I've seen so many of these little accordion style albums online I thought it would be fun to give it a try. No

It's Color Time...!!

Hiya!I had an inside day today. It was something like 110 degrees, and I really didn't have a reason to go out. I just stayed at home and enjoyed my A/C and my Copics. If you're in the mood to get your color on, pop over to Dawn's blog [ ] and pic up some of her fun doodles to color. It's a great way to spend some time,

Happy July 4th!

Hiya! Hope you all are enjoying your summer so far. Here in the USA we are prepping for our annual July 4th Independence Day!! Parades. Picnics, barbecues. Ball games. And of course Fireworks!!  While I was out searching the web for a fun treat to create I stumbled upon these darling hats. Aren't they great? They were created and distributed by a British website...

Crocheted Bun

Hiya!Every once in a while I step away from my paper projects and do a bit of something else. This time it was crochet. As I was wandering the web I came across this adorable Amigurumi bunny created by Tejiendo Peru. (You can search Conejo at to find the pattern.) The entire instructions, including videos, are all in Spanish. I don't understand Spanish, except to count to

Beachy / Islandy Vacation Mini Album

Hiya! Another mini album to share today. This one showcases some beautiful beachy papers. Would be great for someone that lives near a beach, or someone who is going or has been on an island getaway. The design is based on a My Sisters Scrapper envelope mini album tutorial I recently saw. Instead of using envelopes I used kraft cardstock. The album is 8"x6", includes fifteen 4 1/2"X6" pullouts,

Masculine /Dark colored Album

Hiya!I have a mini album to share today. The colors are darker and a bit grungy. So it would be great for pictures of your favorite guy. The design is a resized version of the All Occasion Mini Album and Hidden Hinge binding from Paper Phenomenon. The finished album size is 7 1/2"x6 1/4". The pages are 6"x7". Some have flaps that flip out to the side, all have at least one pocket. It includes

Sporty Album

Hiya! I was able to get my hands on some Graphic 45 Good Ol'Sport papers and bits. It's my first time working with Graphic 45. Can I just say, "Wow! I can see what all the fuss is about." It's great paper to work with. It's heavier stock than basic printed paper, but not quite as heavy as cardstock. Anyway, I made an album with it. Pictures follow. LOTS of pictures. 😄

Happy Birthday Aiden!

Hiya! I have the cutest project to share with you today! A couple months ago my friend asked me about  making a banner for her son's first birthday party. She wanted something that she could hang during the party and then move to his bedroom to hang in his room afterwards. She also wanted to incorporate some of his favorite books into the decor of the party and the banner. Then I imported

Decanter Box

Hiya! So I'm always looking for a fun treat/handout idea to make for my mom, sister and niece and I to give to the ladies we visit each month. Well, a couple weeks back I found a fun box idea created by Linda Parker of Papercraft with Crafty. The way the top end of the box folds in to create a faux lid reminded me of the Treat Box I created years ago for Cricut Design Studio. (The opening of

Valentine, you're all WRITE!

Hiya! Today's project is my son's Valentine handouts. I asked him what he wanted to give out to his classmates. His reply, "I don't care. Just pick something." So.... I did. Lots of pics ahead along with a tutorial if you need one. First, I opened up my Silhouette Studio software and set up my page using the Page Settings menu.  Then using the Draw a Rectangle tool on the left, I drew out a

Merry Christmas!

Hiya!I just wanted to jump on here really quick and wish all of my crafty friends a very Merry Christmas. No matter where you are, or what your belief, I hope you are all blessed with all with all the wishes of your heart! ❤️💛💜💚💙Here are a couple pictures of the Christmas cards I made and sent to my family this year. I was in a bit of a hurry so the pictures aren't very good. As you can see

Cute little Christmas album 2015

Hiya! How goes your Christmas or other holiday plannings? Can you believe Christmas is just a week away? This whole year has zipped right past me. Seems like I was just picking out my son's Halloween costume a couple weeks ago.  Any way... my son's teacher asked if I'd help put together a classroom holiday party. Of course! And everything came together really nicely! And then the morning of the

A Star Wars Birthday Card

Hiya! Hope you are having a nice weekend. My son was invited to a birthday today. We were so busy this week we didn't have an opportunity to go gift shopping. So we grabbed a gift card for the gift. I find kids like to have money to buy their own gift anyway. I created a card to put the gift card in. I designed it based on the Star Wars logo that was in the card. To make it extra fun, I made it

Have you met Eek-Katerina yet?

Hiya! This post was a few weeks in the making. . . Because it took me a few weeks to make "her." Not that she is super hard to make, but because life kept getting in the way. Oy! 😕 Every time I sat down to work on her, I was called away to do something else.  And then Fall Break occurred which meant my son was out of school. So, we decided that meant it was necessary for

Witch's hats and Brooms treats

Hiya!Have you decorated for Halloween yet? My son is at the age where he is all about making sure our house is decorated inside and out for all important holidays. (I.e: Halloween and Christmas) I have to admit that it put me in the mood to make some fun treats for my friends. The Witch's Broom idea came about because I needed to do something with some candy sticks I purchased and had not used yet

Rexburg Idaho Temple card

Hiya! The last couple months have been a bit of a blur. I can't believe my son is already finishing his Fall Break and returning back to school in a couple days. It's already mid-October?! Crazy!Well, a couple months ago a friend of mine got married. I gifted her some small yet fun banners for part of her shower gift...I had also made a Fourth of July banner but somehow didn't snap a picture

Simple gift idea: Notepad and Pen Holder

Hiya! With all if the school supply ads and promos in stores I got an idea in my head to whip up some fun notepad gifts. I have a Dollar Tree store a mile from my home that had some bright colored pens and 3-1/2"x5" notepads in stock so I used them to make the gifts with. Ta-da!But then I thought, "What if these notepads aren't in stock when I want to refill my notepad holder?" Welł, it's pretty
