♥ 3D Grand Anniversary Book/Card ♥

2018-02-22T00:31:04.708-05:00

Hello there. Today I want to share with you a super sweet Book/Card that I made for my husband for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. I used the new Grand Cabinet 3D Card Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders from the New and Fabulous 3D Vignettes Collection.I made the base of the card with the Grand Cabinet Dies but I cut off the tabs on the right sides of the die cuts since it was to be used as a book. Becca has a video HERE which shows how easy it is to put it together.  On the front of the book I also added the Filigree Veil Etched Dies as well as the 1 and 5 from the Filigree Numbers Set.Here I used the Filigree Veil Dies to make a "pocket" that I will put a gift card in or something from our special day 15 years ago. I haven't decided yet! :) But I like the idea of having a pocket to put something in. ;)Another page that you can add a pic to or write something special! Here I added one of my favorite pics from our wedding day. I also used some of the Happily Ever After Etched Dies on this page.On the last page, I left it blank so I can write a special something to my amazing husband. :) Here's a little something you may or may not know about me! My husband and I eloped to our favorite town in Vermont. Just him and I. We then surprised our family and renewed our vows in front of them all in church right before our first son's Baptism, 3 years later. Both set of vows were special to me but I have to say that the 2nd ones were my favorite since our first born and family was there. :)  This was so fun and easy to make! I hope you give it a try too!You can see all of Becca's AMAZING Dies HERE! Have fun shopping! :)Hope you have an AMAZING Day!hugs... [...]

INTRODUCING AMAZING PAPER GRACE ~ 3D VIGNETTES

2018-02-10T13:27:22.503-05:00

♥ This post will stay up top until Feb. 11th. Scroll down for new posts! ♥Welcome friends, today we are introducing a new die collection by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders called 3D Vignettes. What they are:3D Vignettes is a series of theme dies that can be inserted into what is cut with a Grand Base die to create 3D upright cards that fold down flat to go into an envelope – a collapsible tunnel card!  You can see it in action in the 1.5 minute video ——> HERE.  Where these Vignettes are unique, is the ability to die cut or not die cut each and every layer for an ethereal see through dimensional creation.  Collection elements were designed to cut out whole or to be cut out inlaid for inclusion in a Grand Base.  The collection centers around three themes – baby, love and birthday.  Today we show you traditional uses but with a little dreaming, only the sky is the limit. How they are used:The dies and elements can be used as standalones or in the Grand Base there is a good degree of mix and matchability across the entire collection.  The other talented ladies made three cards each to show you how easy it is to isolate different sets or combine them all into one.The set I'm introducing today is S6-141 Filigree NumbersThis Filigree Numbers Set is beautiful! The numbers are Large and so fun to work with. And since you get both a Shadow Set and a Filigree Set, it's like getting 2 sets of dies in 1! They are perfect for Birthday, Anniversary and Holiday cards. They would also be great to make Birthday invites and party favors and decor! Think 1st Birthday...50th Birthday...25th Anniversary and so on! Above, you can see how I used both the shadow and filigree dies to make the number 40. I then went and die cut another set of numbers in a patterned paper using the shadow die and placed that behind the filigree numbers. There are so many different possibilities, as I will show you below. :)    On this next card, I used both the negative space and Shadow die. The set also comes with a Tab die as well as the RD/ST/TH/ND dies. And here I made a shabby Valentine Countdown/Treat Calendar that shows all of the different ways to use these gorgeous number dies! (click on pics for a closer view!) I filled the little burlap bags with candies, for my kids to open each day.Availability:These dies are available on February 13, 2018 - get email notification the moment they are loaded by clicking on the die set and putting your email address and clicking on Notify Me -------HERE.In the meantime, be sure you leave a comment on this post for a chance to win an Amazing Paper Grace Die from the Chantilly Lace Collection.Prizes:There are six dies that are being given away. ♥ Shabby Chic Treat/Gift Holder ♥

2018-01-14T16:58:21.105-05:00

Happy Sunday to you! I'm stopping in today with a super sweet Treat Holder that I made with some fabulous Amazing Paper Grace Dies for Spellbinders.I first die cut the large Chemise frame die from the Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large Etched Dies Set and then used the rectangle die to cut out the center. I then die cut the Emmeline Treillage Die and adhered it over the top of the Coralene die cut. I then backed it with a piece of acetate.I then adhered some of the Hemstitch Ovals Die Cuts to the front. I then embossed Happy Valentine's Day onto one of the Vintage Pierced Banners Dies. I then added some pearls, ribbon, gold trim and embellishments.I then adhered the entire piece to a thick piece of pink glittered cardstock using hot glue just along the sides and bottom. This way it forms a "pocket" in which you can add candy, a gift card or any little gift that will fit. I then added some ribbon to it so it can be hung or carried.Be on the lookout soon for some amazing new dies from Becca! You can see the Preview HERE! They are simply stunning!! I will have some projects up soon with them! ;)Since my birthday is coming up (the 18th), be on the lookout for a Giveaway from me! ;)Hope you have a wonderful day!hugs... [...]

♥ Season's Greetings ♥

2017-12-18T12:12:41.150-05:00

Just 7 more sleeps until Christmas!! I can't wait! Such a magical time of year! My kids cannot be any more excited. As much as they are excited about seeing what Santa is bringing them, they both really love the true meaning of Christmas. Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and the true meaning of family. My 7 year old is OBSESSED with inflatables. We probably have about 30 of them. (I don't put them all out at once. LOL We rotate.) But his favorite one is the "Jesus Blowup" as he calls it. Our inflatable Manger. We can't wait to go to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and have our "Feast of Seven Fishes". Love this time of year! Have I already mentioned that? ;)

Today, I have a sweet and simple card that I made with the Eliza Lace Corners Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. Instead of just placing them in the corners of the card front, I overlapped them to form a "lacy window". Such a pretty die!

I am also using one of the banner dies from the Vintage Pierced Banners Etched Dies Set. This lovely set comes with 3 different banner dies. So easy and fun to use!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day!

I can't believe it's only 37 days until Christmas? My favorite time of year! I LOVE to decorate my home for Christmas. I also love the smells of Christmas...the twinkling lights...the gathering of friends and family...making Christmas cards...but most importantly, I love to see the excitement and joy in my kids eyes. I don't know who was more excited...me or my 7 year old! :) I'm definitely in the holiday spirit for sure now! So why not make a Christmas card with some beautiful Spellbinders Dies by Amazing Paper Grace! For my card, I am using the Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large Etched Dies. Such stunning, intricate dies yet sturdy enough to use as the base for my card.I die cut the Swirl Frame twice using dark green cardstock and patterned paper. I then adhered the patterned paper die cut over the green cardstock to give it some dimension.I added lots of chunky glitter to all the edges with some Glossy Accents to give it a "frosty, icy" look. The papers are from the Sweet Peppermint Paper Pad by Prima.Don't forget to check out the rest of Becca's new Chantilly Paper Lace Collection !hugs...[...]
