DIY BBQ tool caddy

Well, I'm not saying that I can cook.
But, I enjoy a good BBQ.
So, what better way for me to contribute than to make something to organize all the BBQ tools?

This project is so easy, you'll find yourself whipping one together this weekend.
Then you can sit back with a cocktail and watch your favorite chef cook up some tasty burgers.

Some of the parts you'll need to complete the project.
*hint - bring this image to the hardware store and show it to an employee in the plumbing isle.

Collections & Gifts

I'm a sucker for a tier tray.I've got marble ones, wood ones, wire ones. You name it, if it's a tier tray or a cake stand I'll buy it.Since our house is so tiny, it's nice to have the things you use out in the open and still lookin' pretty. The tiered trays are the perfect place to display little collections too.I had so much fun at the Montgomeryville, PA World Market Grand Opening last week.  It was my second time in a World market store ...and, as usual, World Market did not disappoint! If I could create a store filled with all my favorite things...World Market would be it.This trip I focused on table top decor.Like these little cutie mason jar salt and pepper shakers. Anything blue and mason jar - I'm all over it!Not to mention the wire tiered tray I've placed all my goodies in.The tray is the perfect size for my dining room table, plus it doubles my storage area.I love to layer it with my vintage wood "A-Treat" crate. How about these succulents! You know I love to add a little plant life to my vignettes, and succulents are pretty easy...but nothing gets easier or prettier than these faux succulents planted in the perfect little wood box.I always love the look of tablecloths, but with my 3 messy kids, it gets to be a lot of work. This black and white runner was the perfect solution for our family.I get the fabric look I like, with a farmhouse feel. And the kids keep their dirty hands off of it since it only runs down the center of the table. This 2 cup measure is perfect for those of you that cook. But for me, it's the perfect spot for some fresh basil and cilantro to hang out.I even managed to grab a little something for myself. (Well, actually I bought these pillow cases for my daughter's, then kept them for myself instead.)I didn't forget the kids though. World Market has a great selection of food and drink, not to mention the best candy aisle in all the land (ask my kids).Camille is a complete animal lover...and tea lover too.So when I saw this "manatea" tea bag holder I couldn't resist.I scooped up the dog mug for her too.The entire Grand Opening had a great feel to it.The store was hoping with music and people chatting everywhere.I must have seen at least a dozen people I knew there.I am so happy to finally have a World Market in my neck of the woods. It will definitely be on my weekly must stop at list.It has everything from candles, soaps, curtains, kitchen items, food, home decor, furniture...I could go on forever! You must stop by and see for yourself.maybe I'll see you there![...]

How to Eat healthy During a Snow Storm!

Calling it a "bar" and letting the kids build their own meal makes it more appealing.Obviously it's not complicated at all.Add a few jars on a cute tray (mine is an old cabinet door I added handles to), fill with toppings. And ta-da.::Oatmeal bar::It's the little details that make it so darn charming.Add a tea cup for a scoop.Or use a hand-painted measuring cup.Throw in some vintage accessories...I found these 1939 World's Fair spoons at the100 mile long yard sale a few summers ago.Add a Wintry throw for some color and coziness, instead of a table cloth or runner. Thanks to IKEA for providing me with all the essential items I need to build the oatmeal bar![...]
