Hello ladies,

I am happy to be a part of this group. I am the executive director of a non profit helping children affected by HIV/AIDS thru financial assistance, education, prevention and material distribution.

But it is difficult to dontinue our programs when we do not have fundings, donations or sponsors. Please support our work and visit us at www.accainc.org or http://accainc.blogspot.com/.

We have an upcoming fundraising event on October 25, 2008 in Duluth, GA. We need meda exposure, sponsors, donations and love. We are not CARE but we are doing a great job to make the lifes of those children better.

Thank you

Born and raised in Austria's countryside I grew up with a very green mindset provided to a large part by my parents. In my blog I will write about sustainable living, eco-fashion, but also about travel, investments, architecture, new developments and science. Hope you'll like it.

Home decor choices help keep your home cool, save energy

Fri, 03 Aug 2007 17:33:08 +0000

Hi, BlogHers,

I found an interesting article today I thought I'd share:

http://www.news-press.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070803/NEWS0105/7...

It offers tips on selecting home decor that actually help save energy by keeping your home cool. There are things in here I never would have thought of. There are also tips that don't have anything to do with decor but have to do with other energy-saving ideas around the house (that have nothing to do with changing your light bulbs!).

Enjoy....

Tips for living green

Mon, 30 Jul 2007 17:31:15 +0000

Hi, everyone:

I stumbled across this "minisite within site" by a local newspaper. It was so good, I not only blogged about it today, but I thought I'd share it here:

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/green/content/shared/green/index.html

It covers environment articles, tips for taking small steps to live "greener," and even has a quiz. Does your local paper have something similar? Do you have a favorite green blog or site?

Best Wishes,

Holly Ambrose
